[if anyone has attempted to contact Nami to wish him a Merry Christmas, they'll have been informed that the number is currently not in service. this might have something to do with the fact that, inside Nami's trashed apartment, his phone is sitting in a puddle of paintwater, sparking. Nami's nowhere to be found!


there's a frantic Kai calling for Nami as he makes his way through the park. he can feel that Nami's still in the dressing room, but there's a wall between their connection so solid he can't sense anything other than that.]



(ooc: Nami got a heart for Christmas. unfortunately, he's had a lot of negativity 'bottled up' so to speak, and the sudden onslaught of proper emotion wasn't taken well. he's in hiding, having taken a portal straight from his apartment! responses will be from Kai, at least at first, despite the fact that the post is from Nami.)

[Hot chocolate works. She'll even offer him her hand this time, though she tugs the sleeve of her coat down a little first.]

[She's heading... toward the nearest tram tracks, because then they can just follow those home.]

[good idea! he feels better with every step, though it doesn't show aside from the tiny smile. of course, after all this once it's time to head back to see Kai, he'll be feeling quite out of sorts again! but that's later.]

[It's okay, Riku's just happy to hear he's ready to head back right now. Everything else can come later.]

[fact. though all this walking, compared with the cold and sore throat, is going to tire him out. probably before they manage to get to a station.]

[They can take breaks. Hell, they can hide away somewhere and he can take a nap if he needs to, but she'd really rather they get to Kai's place first, or something.]

A lot of things... wondering if my powers still work, trying to think of... what I need to replace for my apartment...

[he considers, then nods, attempting to speak a little more normally. he's still kind of raspy, but he manages to speak in more than a whisper!]

A lot as in electronics, or as in furniture?

[Just how badly did you destroy things, Nami?]

I need... a new phone, I think. Maybe a new mattress if the paint seeped through the sheets... But mostly I need to replace supplies.

[dawnrise]

[Oh, less than she thought, at least in terms of quantity. It's a little saddening to imagine anything he was working on now destroyed, but... She nods.]

I can help with that. This place should give you a new phone.
