[if anyone has attempted to contact Nami to wish him a Merry Christmas, they'll have been informed that the number is currently not in service. this might have something to do with the fact that, inside Nami's trashed apartment, his phone is sitting in a puddle of paintwater, sparking. Nami's nowhere to be found!


there's a frantic Kai calling for Nami as he makes his way through the park. he can feel that Nami's still in the dressing room, but there's a wall between their connection so solid he can't sense anything other than that.]



(ooc: Nami got a heart for Christmas. unfortunately, he's had a lot of negativity 'bottled up' so to speak, and the sudden onslaught of proper emotion wasn't taken well. he's in hiding, having taken a portal straight from his apartment! responses will be from Kai, at least at first, despite the fact that the post is from Nami.)

[he grabs his coffee mug and another muffin before leading the way out of the kitchen and into the living room. they probably have at least a smallish tree up in a corner, with lights and colorful ornaments and stuff, and some piled presents underneath it.]

[In that case, she follows with her own coffee. Also, it's Kai and Axel's house, so she's kicking her shoes off in a corner. She might be wearing Christmas socks. With little Rudolphs on them.]

It's not a custom I'm very familiar with, for obvious reasons, but I was pretty excited about it. This is the first year we've actually had a space where we could set up our own.

[i.e., their own house, WHICH BELONGS TO THEM AND WHICH THEY LIVE IN gosh life is the best right now.]

[stfu. It's not like she's going to go around wearing sweaters or scarves of a variety other than a solid color or light pattern. She still has pointed ears, by the way, and looks amused as she takes a seat on the couch.]

It looks good. Did you pick it out?

[Axel, on the other hand, has a scarf that is lime green and bright red stripes. he saw it in a window and wanted it, even though he has no practical use for scarves. he just liked the colors, because he has zero sense of fashion and what colors shouldn't be worn by him, especially in combos like that.]

Nah, Kai did. All I know about Christmas trees is that they're supposed to be the evergreen kind, and that it's better if they're actual trees and not fake ones, because they smell better. I picked out a lot of the ornaments, though.

The only bad thing about the real trees is the mess when they start shedding. Did you at least help decorate?

Are you kidding, I did most of it, once Kai showed me how to put the lights on.

[he flops onto the couch after putting a movie in; it's probably another one of the terrible ninja movies Ri gave him a couple of years ago. he's more interested in talking to Riku anyway. :> ]

Sounds pretty boring. Maybe you should've come over here to visit. You could have at least had fun watching Apricot tunnel around in the snow out back.

I'd like to know when you think I had time for that. Besides, I have enough of that with Serein. I took her to Christmas Town plenty of times over the summer.

I meant before yesterday, and in general. I have no idea what you do with your free time, but I'm curious now, though of course you don't have to tell me if you don't want to.

What do you think I do? Walk my dog, explore, turn into a wolf once a month... Pretty much anything I want. Hard to find limits in this place. You should hang out in the apartments more. There are still crazy rooms like there was before.

Basically you're surrounded by this huge... creature, I don't know. It's like there are tentacles just coming out of the walls, but it's alive. They have these little chocolate bread things. They're not bad.
