[if anyone has attempted to contact Nami to wish him a Merry Christmas, they'll have been informed that the number is currently not in service. this might have something to do with the fact that, inside Nami's trashed apartment, his phone is sitting in a puddle of paintwater, sparking. Nami's nowhere to be found!


there's a frantic Kai calling for Nami as he makes his way through the park. he can feel that Nami's still in the dressing room, but there's a wall between their connection so solid he can't sense anything other than that.]



(ooc: Nami got a heart for Christmas. unfortunately, he's had a lot of negativity 'bottled up' so to speak, and the sudden onslaught of proper emotion wasn't taken well. he's in hiding, having taken a portal straight from his apartment! responses will be from Kai, at least at first, despite the fact that the post is from Nami.)

[really, honest! he's going to try his pie now. carefully, so he doesn't get burned.]

[Still! She was right. She's going to get herself a small thing of fries. And by small I mean huge, because non-fastfood fries from restaurants are generally still big.

They have bacon bits on them.]

[maybe he'll steal one of her fries! he tilts his head a bit at the bacon bits though.]

[He's welcome to! There's sour cream on the side, and presumably ketchup on the counter. Don't you question her bacon.]

Nothing.

[he shoots her a smile, then turns his attention back to his pot pie. nothing at all!]

[UH HUH. She looks disbelieving, but just starts on her fries.]

[...now I want fries. :( he seems to be enjoying his pot pie, though very slowly, since it's pretty hot and all. he looks better after that brief nap, too.]

[ikr She's glad he's looking better. She's often hungry after a good cry, and tired, so all of this should help settle him, at least a little.]

[it's definitely helping. she knows her stuff, clearly. he won't be eating the entire thing, unfortunately, apparently not as hungry as he thought he was. but he feels warm and full and fairly relaxed, so he doesn't mind.]

[Not as hungry, or not as able to eat that much in one go? Her fries are delicious, and go very well with the cocoa.]

[okay, it's more the latter. he smiles a little and reaches to pick up his hot chocolate.]

Yeah, I do.

[Then she smiles back.]

[despite the rough start, he thinks he'll be alright with having a heart. it means being able to actually feel something when he's with his friends.]

[he's going to think about it as he sips what's left of his drink.]

[Her cocoa's half gone, and the fries are at the very last few, but she's done with them.]

[...he can't help it, he's going to snag one of the last fries even though he's full. just to see if they're good!]

[Pffft. She looks amused.]

Yes. I'll have to order them some time.

[dawnrise]

Good. I don't get a lot of things with bacon on them anymore, but it's been long enough since the full moon.

[Does Nami have the same avoidance of meat after the full moon that she does?]

[fading]

[well he's nodding in understanding.]

It's not too bad when it's such a small amount though.

[dawnrise]

Exactly. Went well with these.

[She pushes the remains of the fries to the middle of the table, because she's definitely done with them, and then takes one last sip of her cocoa. Any decisions yet, Nami?]

[fading]

[he's quiet for a bit, then sighs, looking down at his lap.]

We should head back.
