[if anyone has attempted to contact Nami to wish him a Merry Christmas, they'll have been informed that the number is currently not in service. this might have something to do with the fact that, inside Nami's trashed apartment, his phone is sitting in a puddle of paintwater, sparking. Nami's nowhere to be found!


there's a frantic Kai calling for Nami as he makes his way through the park. he can feel that Nami's still in the dressing room, but there's a wall between their connection so solid he can't sense anything other than that.]



(ooc: Nami got a heart for Christmas. unfortunately, he's had a lot of negativity 'bottled up' so to speak, and the sudden onslaught of proper emotion wasn't taken well. he's in hiding, having taken a portal straight from his apartment! responses will be from Kai, at least at first, despite the fact that the post is from Nami.)

[he lowers his head a bit, smiling uncertainly.]

[She bumps her arm against his after, watching him closer as they go.]

[he seems to get over whatever that was pretty quickly, looking at the ground as they walk, but not seeming particularly upset or anything.]

[She's going to ask Axel to give him extra hugs. Meanwhile, she'll be quiet on the way there, unless he has anything to say.]

[but then he'll feel smothered. :( also no, comfortable silent walk will work just fine.]

[A little smothering would be good for him! Also cool. In that case, Riku will be quiet right up until they get to the door of their house, and she'll give him a look before they go in. One that's sympathetic for whatever treatment he gets from Axel.]

[he just looks kind of amused in response, as well as resigned. time to knock on the door.]

[nope you don't get time to knock on the door, because Axel opens it before Nami gets the chance to. he appears to be containing himself for now, because Nami just gets pulled into a quick hug (although Axel keeps an arm around him afterwards).]

You coming in, Riku, or were you just escorting him? I just made coffee, if that helps your decision any.

No, I'm coming in.

[She's also smiling, and a little of that is gratitude for Axel.]

[coffee is probably one of the few things he tolerates instead of likes! but he looks relieved that Riku's not disappearing on him quite yet.]

[yay more people! he leads the way to the kitchen, where there is a fatbun eating some melon pieces out of a bowl on the table.]

Merry Christmas, by the way. There're muffins on the counter if you guys want any.

[She follows them, hands still in her pockets. Nami gets all the luck, walking with the human heater. ): Oh well, she'll just go give Apricot pets in greeting.]

[ooh, muffins. he'll go for that instead of coffee, for sure!]

[as soon as Nami's on his way to get muffins, Axel's doubling back to give Riku a hug too, because Riku, even though he just saw her the night before. he's just excited because CHRISTMAS and now he's allowed to be bouncy because Nami's alright.]

[Oof why. No that's fine she'll return the hug, amused. She's wearing her present, too! Under her shirt, but still.]

[he starts picking at his muffin, watching Axel with vague amusement.]

[If Red had a problem with it she would be very annoyed. Now excuse me as I go looking for my dog, who is supposed to be here.]

[Red doesn't give a fuck what she does with her present from Axel, he's just not willing to accept his own! also oops yeah, that dog sure is a thing I completely forgot about. anyway, he nods and nibbles on his muffin a bit.]

He is. I think he'll be a while yet.

[he feels a little awkward now that Riku's gone looking for Serein, but he knows he shouldn't.]

[pours a mug for him! and then takes his own mug and grabs a muffin and sits down at the table. \o/]

[he eyes the coffee, but moves to add sugar and cream before he settles as well.]
