[if anyone has attempted to contact Nami to wish him a Merry Christmas, they'll have been informed that the number is currently not in service. this might have something to do with the fact that, inside Nami's trashed apartment, his phone is sitting in a puddle of paintwater, sparking. Nami's nowhere to be found!


there's a frantic Kai calling for Nami as he makes his way through the park. he can feel that Nami's still in the dressing room, but there's a wall between their connection so solid he can't sense anything other than that.]



(ooc: Nami got a heart for Christmas. unfortunately, he's had a lot of negativity 'bottled up' so to speak, and the sudden onslaught of proper emotion wasn't taken well. he's in hiding, having taken a portal straight from his apartment! responses will be from Kai, at least at first, despite the fact that the post is from Nami.)

[how thoughtful of her. he'll be rather surprised he fell asleep at all. he hadn't meant to do more than rest his eyes a bit!]

[The fun part is that he gets to question why he wakes up to a face full of boobs, with Riku gently shaking his shoulder.]

[bwuh. he straightens in surprise, cheeks faintly pink.]

Mm. It hasn't been long.

[She obviously doesn't mind, and just shifts, because her arm was kind of stuck in place for a while.]

[oops. he shifts away from her to stretch, making a bit of a face.]

I hadn't realized I was tired...

[She shrugs and stretches her arms out above her head, then rotates the one shoulder a little.]

You were emotionally exhausted. I'm not surprised you fell asleep.

As long as it didn't bother you.

It didn't bother me. Are you ready to get up?

Yeah.

[in fact, he will do so! and wobble a bit, but stay upright.]

[She stands up too, stretching her spine out now that she can.]

Where do you want to go?

Somewhere I can get a warm drink. Other than that, I don't care.

[and maybe a bite to eat. he hasn't eaten properly in days, and his body is already starting to complain about it.]

...come on. We haven't had lunch in a while. There's a cafe with good hot chocolate.

[A little more distraction before he runs into Kai might be a good idea, too. She's going to nod toward where the closest restaurant is, over the bridge, and head that way with her hands in her pockets.]

That sounds good.

[good idea, Riku! he follows along closely, not really paying attention to their surroundings.]

Try not to freeze on the way there.

[Just teasing. It really is a nice cafe, though. Not the one they went to way back.]

[and then he became a popsicle.]

[No Namisicles, please. Once the cafe's in sight Riku's going to break out into a slight run, because she's cold again already!]

[he blinks when she does, but will change his pace to match hers!]

[Pfft. She just wanted to get in the door, which she's holding open for him. Isn't it all nice and decorated for the holidays?]

[oh, pretty. also such a gentleman, Riku. he gives her a little grin and heads inside. ahhh, warmth.]

[She smiles back at him and closes the door, wrapping her arms around herself once she's in. Warmth indeed.]

Mm. Usually I just make my own, but it was one of the first cold days.
