[if anyone has attempted to contact Nami to wish him a Merry Christmas, they'll have been informed that the number is currently not in service. this might have something to do with the fact that, inside Nami's trashed apartment, his phone is sitting in a puddle of paintwater, sparking. Nami's nowhere to be found!


there's a frantic Kai calling for Nami as he makes his way through the park. he can feel that Nami's still in the dressing room, but there's a wall between their connection so solid he can't sense anything other than that.]



(ooc: Nami got a heart for Christmas. unfortunately, he's had a lot of negativity 'bottled up' so to speak, and the sudden onslaught of proper emotion wasn't taken well. he's in hiding, having taken a portal straight from his apartment! responses will be from Kai, at least at first, despite the fact that the post is from Nami.)

I hope not. I wish I'd been thinking at all before I left.

[She moves closer and takes her arm to put it over his shoulders, pulling him closer. Purely for warmth.]

I know the feeling.

[he is okay with warmth. appreciates it greatly, in fact, and if they weren't moving he'd be snuggling up close. unfortunately they're still walking, so he'll put that off for when they make it on a tram or something.]

[They can have friendly snuggles on the train or something. She's not the most snuggly person, but she's freezing her ass off too, and she wants to be there as much for Nami as she can.

So how about that tram station?]

[Yes let's just say they're uh. there. Or it's in view, at least. Because I don't even know what else they could say during the walk.]

[But which one did they go to? Riku doesn't have anything to say, so unless Nami wanted to initiate conversation, it would be a pretty quiet trip. A pretty cold one, too.]

[Halloween Town one I guess!! he shivers a little, but smiles.]

We could have taken a portal...

And you could have Shadows crawling all over you. Get in the tram.

I know how to run, Riku.

[gosh! he's going, he's going. such a rude alpha.]

And to dress for the cold.

[She'll follow him inside and sigh. It is much warmer in the tram.]

[ohhhh warmth. he's going to sink into a seat on the tram and look like he's ready to go to sleep right there.]

[She's going to take a seat beside him. Not so close that their legs are touching, but enough that he could easily scoot closer, or reach for her hand.]

[hopefully she won't mind when he leans against her after a few minutes, looking drowsy. he's cold, tired, his throat hurts, and all that emotion bullshit has him feeling kind of like vomiting.]

[Of course not. If he wants to take a short nap on the ride back, even, she'd be fine with playing pillow.]

[oh, good. that sounds like a really good idea, and he'll probably be doing just that.]

[Then she won't wake him up until they reach the station.]

[how thoughtful of her. he'll be rather surprised he fell asleep at all. he hadn't meant to do more than rest his eyes a bit!]

[The fun part is that he gets to question why he wakes up to a face full of boobs, with Riku gently shaking his shoulder.]

[bwuh. he straightens in surprise, cheeks faintly pink.]

Mm. It hasn't been long.

[She obviously doesn't mind, and just shifts, because her arm was kind of stuck in place for a while.]

[oops. he shifts away from her to stretch, making a bit of a face.]

I hadn't realized I was tired...

[She shrugs and stretches her arms out above her head, then rotates the one shoulder a little.]

You were emotionally exhausted. I'm not surprised you fell asleep.

As long as it didn't bother you.

It didn't bother me. Are you ready to get up?
