[Looks like the door to the stables was left open today. There's an unusual amount of activity flowing into the main room, in the form of several horses. Or horse-shaped beings. Most of them look fairly normal, average, trotting in different directions... Minus the white one sporting a pair of large wings, but he's trying to fit through the kitchen door. The black one almost looks unimpressed.]

[ Kairi doesn't remember falling asleep, but as she stirs in the dark, she has to rub the sleep from her eyes. What time is it? She sits up in bed, reaching for the lamp on her nightstand and slipping a hand under the shade to twist the knob. She hears it give a click, but she's still sitting in the dark. Sliding off of the bed and onto her feet, she tries to squint through the dark to make out even the faintest of shapes that are her furniture to help her avoid obstacles as she makes her way to her bedroom door. Fortunately, her room's clean and there are not too many things to trip over, so she makes it to the door after a minute or two of walking around with her hands held out in front of herself, trying to feel her way through the room. Finally, her fingertips are pressed against the wood of her door and she lowers a hand to turn the doorknob, pulling the door open.

Everything is dark. Kairi's looking up toward the hallway ceiling questioningly, still half-expecting the lights to come on, but after a few seconds of this, she realizes that they're not going to fix themselves. So she peers down the corridor, wondering which way to take to get to the room housing the power controls. But there are so many rooms... and as Kairi's settle on the hall, she can't help but notice there are so many glowing eyes staring back at her. She opens her eyes wide in surprise, and her attempt at slipping away without so much as a noise to further reveal herself fails miserably as she takes a few steps back into her room only to trip over one of the Shadows that has crept into her room. The graceful escape is foiled before it can begin, as she comes falling to the floor and onto her butt. ]

Ahh! Get off!

[This rarely happens but Axel's found himself unable to sleep, and vaguely thirsty. He could just get up and refill his glass in the sink in their bathroom, sure, but that wasn't enough. So his trip to the kitchen was more for the walk than the actual water. Hopefully he hadn't woken Roxas.]

[Namine was curled up in one of the many living rooms with a blanket swaddling around her, settled comfortably in the biggest armchair in the room. A large, old looking book was sitting in her lap, and she was delicately turning it's pages, reading softly under her own breath.]

I wish to live my life under the sky. At times I shall laugh, at other times cry. For no life is more insincere than that lived as a masquerade.

[well, there's no way Kai would have the ears and tail that the latest spell has brought to people. instead, he's going through a costume closet, picking through a box of... cat ear headbands. there's a cat tail next to him; the kind that can clip onto the back of one's pants or belt, and it looks to be pretty much spot on for colour if your name is Riku. now he's just looking for "ears" to match. also, his bunny is crawling through a pile of feather boas nearby, having a lovely time ripping each individual feather from them.]

[Well, that just figures. She's finally more or less comfortable and another spell happens. Riku's standing at the end of the hall, staring at one of the signs with irritation. Not that you could tell. She's wearing an over-sized hoodie, and the minute the spell made itself known she pulled the hood up over her head, and that won't be changing any time soon. Thank god it almost falls to her knees.]

[and from out of this door green smoke is spilling everywhere, spreading quickly into the hall to disperse throughout the rest of the DR. a Riku is coughing, fanning away the smoke and turning to get out of there, but not before white cat ears and a fluffy white tail suddenly sprout from him.

there's evil-sounding laughter as he escapes the room, and flyers are appearing in every room the smoke reaches. every one of them says more or less the same thing. looking at just one of them reads:

HAD SEX? NOW EVERYONE WILL KNOW IT
IF YOU HAVE CAT EARS AND TAIL, THAT MEANS YOU'RE A VIRGIN
IF YOU DON'T, THAT MEANS YOU WERE BEING ~NAUGHTY~

[Addie's currently making her way down the hall with one of those flyers in hand and an annoyed look. There are a couple of tabby-like ears on her head that match her hair, and a tail behind her.]

Great. Wings, ears, and a tail. I look like some kind of chimera.

[Here's Lea staring into one of the mirrors in the hallway, awkwardly tugging on the fuzzy little red ears that blended into his hair. His pants were unfortunately hanging a little lower than even he would have liked, just to make room for a long furry tail that hung down near his ankles that matched his hair and ears, but it had a dark brown, nearly black tip.]

Well uh.. this is kind of weird. [No he hasn't seen one of the flyers yet.]
