[ There's a perfectly ordinary hallway that branches off from one of the main, leading to a downward staircase. If one were to walk down, they would notice how the walls and stairs themselves are decaying, changing as the steps go down from the regular floors and ordinary wood to stone. It leads down, not too far, to a long series of underground tunnels. Mostly man-made, but with natural formations as well. The sound of water running can be heard to the left and loud, scraping footsteps to the right. Which direction would you take? ]

[He is going to hurry toward the water, because he isn't at all sure he's curious enough to investigate that other sound. If there's more than two paths to take, it won't be long before he's lost which way goes back out again.]

[Larxene heads towards the sound, a small ball of lightning in her hand to light her way.]

[Which sound? Either way, some distance from the stairs is a smear of blood against a wall...]

[The scraping one. At the sight of the blood, Larxene gets her knives out. She continues in that direction as quietly as she can manage.]

[ohnoes. In that case, she'll be coming across more blood further down. Looks like something's dripping.]

[Kairi had followed the hallway out of curiosity, and now stands at the fork, frowning at the noises. The scraping sounds like it could be dangerous... but better someone who can actually fight find whatever danger is there, right? Before someone who can't at all comes along...]

[Maybe the scraping isn't dangerous at all. Maybe it's the water that's dangerous. In any case, she'll see a shadow move, much, much further down into the tunnel, in the direction of the scraping.]

[That's enough of a reason for her to go. She's not pulling out her weapon yet, but she's cautious all the same.]

[It's only natural for this Kairi to follow the sounds of water, and so she does. Personally, she's still quite curious in her exploration of the new layout.]

[She's not the only one. Further in she'll find a stream and a dip in the ground, and a sharp cliff to the side with an underground waterfall.]

[Well that's something she has yet to see in the dressing room! She peers over the edge at the falling water, staying a reasonable distance from the drop-off point.]

[it's nice to be able to explore indoors now, since it's still pretty chilly in a lot of the outdoor areas, especially around where his den still is. it's a little cool for his liking down these stairs, too, but it's too interesting to pass up. he's heading right for the water sounds, because there might be some fish or something that he could eat!]

[Or maybe a boy hanging upside down from a very high hole in the wall, reaching carefully for a nest of some sort. If he fell from this height he'd crack his skull open!]

[Curiosity might have killed the cat, but that doesn't mean that Layla here isn't giving in to it right now. Pretty neat, she's thinking, as she heads on down, following the water noises as she goes. Hmm...]

[She might be able to sense some strong light coming from down there, near a stream.]

[Simply fascinating... Ienzo, being a total dweeb, is going to follow along right away. He'll head for the water first, but he'll be back to check out the scraping later.]

[At the water he'll find a little girl sitting on the edge of a stream, kicking her legs gently in the water.]

[Oh, how sweet. Ienzo will quickly head over to her with a smile.]

[As for the scraping noise, well. He'll find his (second) favorite Kairi crouched in the middle of an opening, investigating a pile of bones.]

[He blinks, adjusting his glasses before he approaches Kairi from behind.]
