[ There's a perfectly ordinary hallway that branches off from one of the main, leading to a downward staircase. If one were to walk down, they would notice how the walls and stairs themselves are decaying, changing as the steps go down from the regular floors and ordinary wood to stone. It leads down, not too far, to a long series of underground tunnels. Mostly man-made, but with natural formations as well. The sound of water running can be heard to the left and loud, scraping footsteps to the right. Which direction would you take? ]

[Point! She stands as well, dusting herself off.]

Why were you chasing them?

[Riku turns in that direction, then starts heading that way.]

Because it's not real, and it tried to kill me.

Oh.

[Hopefully Riku doesn't mind Kairi following. If nothing else, she can toss Riku potions or something in a fight.]

[She doesn't mind. She's taking off at a quick walk, though. She intends to find this thing.]

...how dangerous is it?

[Because she's wondering if she should summon her Keyblade now instead of later.]

About as dangerous as I am, I guess.

[She shrugs.]

I have no idea how dangerous you are.

[Oh well, they'll find out soon enough, probably.]

[That they will.]

How dangerous is your Riku?

Very. Though I think he's a little older than you.

How old's that?

[Did you hear that cracking noise, Kairi? Like something just broke off of one of the walls, perhaps.]

[She was about to respond, but she stops and listens after that noise instead.]

Kairi?

[She stops too, head turned in her direction.]

...I thought I heard something.

[Riku goes still, head cocked to listen. It happens again, from the other side, and she turns toward it immediately.]

[This seems like a good time to get her Keyblade ready.]

[It is, because the minute Riku starts moving a double launches out of the darkness for her. She has her own weapon out instantly and they clash hard.]

[Oh dear. She's not sure how she can help, especially since she doesn't want to attack the wrong one. Why did it have to be two of the same person?]

[Good question. The double lands on her feet once they've pushed away from each other, and they're both facing each other, perfect mirror images. The double tilts her head up, toward Kairi.]

Get out.

[Kairi doesn't move, just watching them. The surprise has passed and now she's on the defensive, just in case.]

Why?

Why? Because you're just making this into a bigger mess. That thing you've been talking with is the fake.

[She points at at that 'thing', aka the original Riku, who looks startled by the accusation and then angry.]

...what.

[Oh my god, is this really going to happen. It's like something out of a bad movie.]

[The double stares at her in a 'you heard me' sort of way, and Riku shakes her head.]

Don't fall for it. She knows she can't take two of us.

I can't believe this is actually happening.

[She would be facepalming if it weren't for her Keyblade.]

Are you really surprised with this place?

[The double rolls her eyes and points her own blade at Kairi.]

Get lost.

Rude.

[She tilts her head up a bit.]

I don't know which of you is the 'fake', not that it really matters in a place where there's a ton of Rikus anyway, but I think I like the one who isn't being a total jerk more.
