[ There's a perfectly ordinary hallway that branches off from one of the main, leading to a downward staircase. If one were to walk down, they would notice how the walls and stairs themselves are decaying, changing as the steps go down from the regular floors and ordinary wood to stone. It leads down, not too far, to a long series of underground tunnels. Mostly man-made, but with natural formations as well. The sound of water running can be heard to the left and loud, scraping footsteps to the right. Which direction would you take? ]

[She hesitates, frozen in place.]

...depends.

[The other one, now standing, looks passive but unhappy. She speaks, then.]

On if you wanted revenge or not?

I probably can't even begin to understand why this happened. I haven't been here very long, but even I've figured out that stuff like that, it's not really worth it. When you kill someone, they'll just come back, right? And then you're in danger all over again.

I won't be.

[The first one, the one that was standing before, says that, and raises her weapon again.]

[Then she's going to be getting Destiny's Embrace held to meet it. Kairi looks pretty disappointed.]

I guess I shouldn't be surprised by the stubbornness.

[demitint]

[They both look kind of startled, but that one looks angry, too.]

Whose side are you on?

[islandflower]

Neither of your sides, apparently, since I'm on the side where you two stop fighting because there's no point to it!

[demitint]

[Time for the other one to chime in.]

I don't want to fight. But if it's the choice between her or me, I'm not going to give up.

[She steps back and holds her own blade back, but not up. Not yet.]

But why does it have to come down to this at all? I don't understand!

[demitint]

Because she wants to kill me.

[She does not understand what there is about this to not get. Meanwhile, the one that was standing already is getting really impatient.]

Fine. Whatever.

[islandflower]

[Shhh that was more toward the person who, you know, is trying to do the killing for a reason Kairi still doesn't get.]

I know that much! But why? That's what I don't get!

[demitint]

Does it matter?

[Still the one that was already standing. The one with her blade against Kairi's, slowly applying pressure.]

If she comes back, then all she's missing is time.

[islandflower]

Of course it matters!

[She grits her teeth and stands her ground, knowing that if it came down to it she'd get her ass handed to her quicker than she could get a spell off.]

If you can't justify what you're doing, you shouldn't do it!

[demitint]

[She presses down harder, raising both hands to do so.]

I can justify it. Someone like you wouldn't understand.

[islandflower]

Try me.

[She shifts her grip to keep the Keyblade where it is easier, expression serious. She really does want to know.]

[She just presses down harder, enough to give her some help when she suddenly rips it back and then swings it at her.]

i figured you just weren't feeling the character rofl

[That has her sliding back in surprise before she lets out an annoyed sigh, pulling her blade up defensively.]

[She swings hard, and this time all three of their blades clash together and the second, the one that had been on the ground, calls up a shield between them.]

[islandflower]

[Kairi relaxes slightly in relief, but doesn't let her guard down just yet.]

Why?

[demitint]

[The second Riku keeps the shield up, and the first, the attacker, just glowers at them both. A second later and her mouth stretches out into an inhumanly large, fanged grimace, and she tries to bite the defending Riku's face off.]

[islandflower]

[Shriek! How about a Fire spell, Biteyku? It's the first spell Kairi learned, so it's the one she's best at! Though it's still only the first rank and all.]

[demitint]

[Riku has to lean back far to avoid getting part of her face ripped off. The double (which has been the one standing all along, at least) gives an inhuman shriek and backs off at the fire, the razor-sharp grin stretching out to her ears. Literally. Riku looks suitably horrified.]

Run. Run!

[islandflower]

[She is definitely running, but only if the non-monsterish Riku is following!]

What's going on?! I thought she was just angry or something, not- not that!

[demitint]

[She's following after tossing up another shield. She plans to fight it, but not with Kairi in danger.]

Oh yeah, just angry enough to try to kill me for no reason.

And you couldn't just say "she's going to eat my face" or something so I'd understand sooner?!
