[ There's a perfectly ordinary hallway that branches off from one of the main, leading to a downward staircase. If one were to walk down, they would notice how the walls and stairs themselves are decaying, changing as the steps go down from the regular floors and ordinary wood to stone. It leads down, not too far, to a long series of underground tunnels. Mostly man-made, but with natural formations as well. The sound of water running can be heard to the left and loud, scraping footsteps to the right. Which direction would you take? ]

[Hmmm. Okay, fine, opening a portal. She's not chancing anything. If his heart gets corrupted that's his problem.]

[He very nearly wets himself just going into the portal. It isn't something he's used to seeing, let alone experiencing. By the time they get out of there he'll be crying for Chichi! and Roxie! and generally looking like a wet snotball.]

[For heaven's sake. The Berserker drops him on the ground, vanishing once its current purpose is done.]

[That shocks him into silence for nearly half a minute, before he looks up at Saix with his eyes screwing up and mouth working silently in what is soon to be a fresh bout of tears over the lump forming at his knee.]

[Look at all the fucks she gives. She raises her eyebrows at him, but doesn't react otherwise.]

[It hasn't even occurred to him that they're out; he's too busy blubbering about being afraid of the dark and his knee hurting; his knee is more sore than his chest after that trip, enough that he hasn't noticed the ache there too.]
