10 Feb 2012 09:33 am[This morning, DR, if you walk into the game room, you'll be confronted with the fact you aren't alone. In fact, two familiar heads of hair are sitting on the couch, playing PS2. However, unlike those they look like? These two aren't exactly having a conversation like Sora and Riku would.]
Tch. That's supposed to be the "killer"?
[He sounds less than enthused by the possibility, rolling his eyes at what is being displayed on the screen.]
How pathetic can one idiot be?
[There's a bit of a laugh from the one with the controller.]
You're asking that? After your other half?
[The one relaxing against the back of the couch just rolls his eyes, then turns to stare at the one with the controller.]
There's the level of pathetic our other halves are on, and then there's this level of moron that this "real" self is on rungs below them.
[It's almost a glare.]
Don't even try comparing "me" to that pile of trash.
Yeah, yeah. Still, they're all pathetic and that's the point. I don't think it matters what rung you are once you actually hit pathetic.
[She just hits the button to go to the next line, letting the game scene play out.]
In the end, they're all trash. That's why we're here and they're not, right?
It might if somehow, they can just go all the lower in self-doubt.
[He almost laughs at the next pathetic quip from those on the screen.]
Yeah.
[A menacing smirk crosses his lips. Even for a younger self, the next sentence sounds far too dark and bored for him.]
And here begins the countdown to yet another denial.
It's strange how humans always deny what they think's the darkest part of their hearts.
[Not that this "Sora" thinks herself dark at all.]
But then... We wouldn't exist without that denial, so I suppose we owe them some amount of thanks.
[This "Riku" only laughs for a moment. "Dark" or "light" doesn't matter to his true self as much as it should. Still, he does quiet down slightly.]
Right. Thanks after rejection and just before being crushed and tossed out like last week's trash in a landfill.
Come on, let's just play the game.
[More of that dialogue... Then, she'll just sigh.]
...You know. You'd think they'd learn to just tackle the person instead of talking to them. And what kind of Shadow is that thing?
And that's why they almost failed the last time until that bear-thing stepped in.
[He rolls his eyes, watching as the dialogue continues on...and on... and ON.]
Judging by the dungeon so far? Probably a cousin of the Atari-
Either way, it's insulting. How can he call himself a real Shadow when he's nothing but a screaming baby?
[She wrinkles her nose, also becoming annoyed by the long scene. Were the others this long?]
The same way the ninja-frog did.
[The bird in the cage says "yes, yes they were." But watching the rest of the scene makes his eyes narrow.]
...My turn. That barrier is even more insulting.
...Have at it.
[And then she hands off the controller, sitting back and relaxing. She'll let her friend handle things for the fight.]
[> ...It would seem that despite them sharing the same faces and "voices" of the two familiar figures, they aren't exactly who they seem to be.]
[> They also seem to be rather sensitive to the entire ordeal of "shadow" and "real."]
[> ...Regardless, it seems as though they will be here for a while.]
[> ...]
[> Bother them?]
[=> Yes.]
[=> No.]
[=> ...I need an adult.]
[OOC: These two are currently playing Persona 4. If you would like to know what they're talking about, there is a handy link right here. Otherwise, you can ignore what they're saying and focus on all of the incompleteness and darkness and how out of character they seem from the real Sora and Riku if you'd like. Joint post with
