For Nostalgia's Sake

[A door opens, and a Roxas looking to be seventeen or eighteen walks through, backpack slung over his shoulder. There's a bandage on his cheek. He looks pretty average, for a Roxas, and doesn't emanate any strange power upon first glance.]

[However, there is something a little notable about this Roxas, perhaps familiar for some. There is a bracelet on his wrist. A friendship bracelet, and it looks decently worn, though well taken care of. It seems to still be pretty sturdy, but it's definitely far from new.]

[He pauses in the hallway as the door he came through closes behind him. His backpack slips from his grasp, and he jumps in surprise and grabs it just before it hits the floor, bringing it up to his chest and hugging it tightly. His eyes wander the hallway in wonder, shock, and disblief. It seems he's just realized that his front door didn't lead him to his living room. But that's not all he realized.]

... N...no way...

[She's running. Running fast, they're almost here. They're so close, she can feel it. She's done so well, she can't give up now! She can't, everything she's gone through would have been in vain. Those last few months of running, of trying her best to be strong, and now they're on her tail, reaching for her, trying to drag her back.]

[She has to move. She has to run. She has to get away, just a little further and she could regroup with the others.]

[A door. An old building, maybe there's a back door, maybe they'll get distracted searching it out. She dives for the door, sketchbook under her arm, and shoves through it.]

[She stumbles through, and the door slams against the hallway's wall and rebounds back to slam shut behind her. She hits the floor, wincing as her sketchbook flies a few feet ahead. She scrambles to grab it, and stops with her hand on it, because she's just figuring out she's not back home anymore. Very slowly, she scans the room, looking over the couches. She sees the hallway to her left.]

[Namine gasps, and straightens. And then she's going back to the door she came through, to open it and find the closet there instead of her world. She's hit with a number of different emotions, and she turns suddenly to look around.]

... I'm back?

[A peaceful hallway is being disturbed by a door busting out, and the culprit (a large, concentrated wave of pure light) slams into the far wall, creating quite the gash.]

[Wisps of dark mist flow out the door and fade; someone was killing Heartless.]

[The next thing to emerge is a Sora, on what appears to be inline skates, and after breathing a little hard for a moment, he's making his way to the nearest kitchen for a rejuvenating snack.]

[Here is a sight that has been uncommon lately; Ri is wandering down the hallway without any laundry or a child with him. Anyone who's caught a glimpse of him lately probably saw him with baby Kira in a chest carrier, but she's with her Mama and siblings at the moment. And without the constant presence of one of his children, Ri's Darkness is spiking up again.

The one good thing is that his face is buried in a home improvement magazine as he wanders through the halls.]

[ It's pretty hard to tell when you're in a new place when you base all of your blind navigation on things memorized. This Riku's wandering around in one of the classic Organization XIII uniforms, and doesn't notice the change in atmosphere until she walks straight into a wall.

She bounces off of it, arms flailing before she regains her footing and appears to 'stare' straight ahead of her, then behind her as panic ripples up her spine. Did she just walk straight into a trap? ]
