[ It's pretty hard to tell when you're in a new place when you base all of your blind navigation on things memorized. This Riku's wandering around in one of the classic Organization XIII uniforms, and doesn't notice the change in atmosphere until she walks straight into a wall.

She bounces off of it, arms flailing before she regains her footing and appears to 'stare' straight ahead of her, then behind her as panic ripples up her spine. Did she just walk straight into a trap? ]

[bet that voice sounds familiar, though perhaps a bit older than what she'd be used to hearing. not every day you see a 'ku bounce off a wall like that.]

[She sucks in a sharp breath on a gasp when she hears it, whirling in the direction she senses him. She wants to pull up her blindfold and look to see, because it can't possibly be him, but...]

Kai?

[he moves closer, frowning faintly. definitely a new one.]

[Oh, please don't do that. She doesn't want you to see her like this, and even puts one foot behind her when he moves. She's almost hoping this is a trick.]

Why-- How are you here?

[he stops where he is when she takes a step back, looking a bit sad.]

You're not where you were before, Riku. Take off the blindfold. Look around you for a moment, and look at me.

[That response is immediat, automatic, but she's not going to tell him why she can't. She has no idea he could possibly already know. But she does raise both of her hands to her face, keeping her head down while she uncovers one eye.]

[he doesn't really care how she does it; she just wants her to get a good look at him. he's a couple years older than this one, if she's from around the time he's thinking she is.]

[Well she starts with keeping her eyes on the ground, then up the walls and ceiling and all around her, very careful to avoid where Kai is until she's taken all of that in. Then she finally looks to him, expression wary.]

This isn't the Islands. And you're...

[he grins a little, hands in his pockets.]

[the moment he sees her he freezes, just from the strength of the memories that wash over him. she's so powerfully familiar, like she just walked straight out of his dreams, but ...

but will a Riku like this even remember him?

for the moment he's just frozen in place, gaping slightly, trying to decide if he should approach her or just bolt before she can notice he's there.]

[Lucky him, she's yet to forget, and after just a little more frantic 'looking' around she stills when her senses catch him. She straightens up, but doesn't move to face him fully, wherever he is.]

[he shuts his eyes. for just a moment, just to breathe. then he takes a slow, deep breath and opens them, taking a step towards her.]

[As if she couldn't tell. She does turn to look at him, her head tilted up to show her curiosity.]

What? How could I-- [wait. so she's really brand new, huh. he smiles faintly for a beat, then shakes his head.]

No. This place is called the dressing room, and it kind of pulls people in whenever it wants. You can't leave, either, unless it lets you.

[She freezes when she hears that, turning in his direction because that voice sounds familiar, but at the same time there's something different about it, and there's a Heart. She can sense it, and it's nothing like any she's ever encountered before.]

Who are you?

It's me, Roxas.

[he's headed straight for her, though he's a little confused as to why she's running into walls like that. does his Heart feel heavily influenced by a Sora? because it has a twin just like it, just not in the DR.]

[It would be pretty hard to miss the way her jaw drops when he says that, or how she tenses from head to toe and takes a step back, putting herself in a defensive position.]

[Hell with this. She's raising up one side of her blindfold to look at him, which lasts all of three seconds before she drops it again and stumbles back.]
