(don't mind that kid there, who looks like a little!Riku with brown eyes. he's just looking around, likely for someone. in fact, he seems a little lost...)
[she's not in a good mood. she's in a large room full of training dummies, and she's systematically burning them all to the ground. it's a good thing they seem to grow right back up out of the ashes, otherwise she'd just be in a worse mood. a harsh, guttural language is escaping her lips in something akin to a song as she moves, setting another dummy aflame.]
[Dusks and Creepers are in the halls, too many to count. Dancers are gliding through rooms, and Samurai stand crouched in the corners while Snipers patrol the ceilings and Berserkers drag their way through the less inhabited halls.
The Dragoons have slipped their way into the more open areas, the 'beach' and the garden, weapons drawn and ready. strangely, the Gamblers and Sorcerers are nowhere to be found, but just as the others, they are there.
maybe something set them off, or maybe they're just tired of waiting and waiting and watching with no results. but there's so many of those with Hearts and so many of those without that are gaining them that they don't understand. they may not have the capabilities of the humanly ones, the ones who retained their shapes, but aren't they just as deserving?]
[Cloud is just sitting on his bed reading a book out of many in Leon's stash. The guy has a pretty good collection, Cloud was on his tenth book in only so many days. Of course, he had been ordered to stay in bed when he had come in all bloody all those days ago, but it had given him a chance to actually pick up a book or two... or three... or four... yeah...]
[humming as he walks down the hall, unlit cigarette pressed between his lips, one hand in the pocket of his leather jacket, the other twirling a large feather. after a moment, he tosses it behind him where it falls to the ground. there are a few more feathers resting further behind him as well, probably having to do with the several naked, though still alive, chocobos in the stables a few halls over.]
[There's a new Kairi in the dressing room- she doesn't look too good though. Her outfit's been ripped and torn in several spots, and she's bleeding as well. She's lying on the floor, eyes held closed as if waiting to be hit by something... or someone.]
[Evan is hunched up in the corner of the room, sitting with his back pressed against the wall and his head lolling forward onto his chest. he appears to be asleep - eyes closed and limbs limp - but... he's not moving, not even a bit. there's not even the subtle constant motion that comes with breathing, he's completely still.
in a nearby wall outlet an orange extension cord is plugged in. the wiring winds across the floor and disappears behind the bot where he's sitting...]
One hand lingers on the door, the other clutching a sketchbook tightly to her chest. She looks around in silence, taking a few steps forward, her fingers slipping off the doorknob.
Then she glances back, and the door is no longer there.]
[Anyone walking by the lab would hear a satisfied laugh, gradually escalating into hysterics. Generally, Even tries not to be too dramatic, but...
...this was a special occasion.]
Eureka. I have found it. [Then comes sound of a chair toppling over, followed by a stack of papers. The doors to the laboratory slam open, Even still holding onto the knob and grinning like a madman.]
