[Kira woke up this morning feeling quite strange and she doesn't like it. She can't use her magic at all, not even for a puny little Fire, which she's been able to cast since she was just a kid. She can feel something that seems like her magic -- or maybe it's more like the magic she learned when she was Yunalesca -- but she can't use that either. It's all incredibly frustrating and sort of scary, so now Kira is in a kitchen and baking. At least that's something she can still do.]

[Axel does not appear to be in the best of moods. this is probably because she has been unable to pull up portals, and hasn't been able to produce even a flicker of flame. she's making her way through the halls with an unreadable expression, occasionally glancing down at her wrist. not that there's anything visible, as she's wearing gloves, but the inside of her wrist is where the symbol appeared on her. the marking makes it pretty clear to her who else is involved in this, but only to a point.]

[ mid-afternoon on the 20th, whether or not they've yet managed to meet up, recognize, or transfer magic, pairs will feel a burning sensation on their body as another piece of the spell takes effect. matching symbols, to help them find each other. ]

[Roxas is looking rather concerned as he passes through the dressing room's hallways, on a mission to find someone. While he rubs his forearm, he winces. That burning sensation is new to him, different than any frost bite he's ever felt before, and the brand there leaves him with a lot of questions. But for how he's keeping it hidden under his hand and hurrying along.]

[Much like the others hit with the spell, this Riku isn't happy. Okay, maybe that's an understatement--he's pretty angry. He's not so concerned about the inability to form portals or even produce the smallest spark of Fira magic, but he can't call his weapon either--that's what bothers him the most. All things he's pretty sure are results of the symbol burned into his shoulder.

Riku's been hanging out in an empty hallway, debating whether or not he wants to find anyone else and see if they're affected. But it seems like a bad idea for some reason.
