[ Riku has spent the past day since the flood started keeping an eye out for anyone in danger. Storms and floods are nothing new to her, thanks to growing up on her islands, and the situation has been almost... comforting. Dealing with a disaster she knew exactly how to handle. She knew when this started that there were plenty of people who wouldn't know what to do in this kind of situation, plenty of kids, and plenty of people who wouldn't know how to swim. It's kept her pretty busy, which has kept her distracted from the ever-present worry over why her favorite kid has gone missing.

Unfortunately, with the two combined, she hasn't slept more than a couple catnaps since Wednesday morning. Which would explain why she's nodding off as she drifts down the hall, curled unsteadily on a giant inflatable paopu. It's kind of cute. ]

[normally, Sora here would have gotten a major kick out of his current situation: he's floating along on a giant pirate ship queen-sized mattress with his first mate chocobo Bawk and his very own treasure chest small box of food to keep him nice and full until he drifts somewhere a little safer. heck, he'd even scooped up his very own pirate hat that was floating around unclaimed, and is now wearing it, though it's kind of big and is sort of hanging lopsidedly off the side of his head.]

[so pirate ship, check, pirate hat, check, pirate crew, check, pirate treasure, check... but this little buccaneer is looking less like a pirate and more like a just kicked puppy, sitting in the middle of the mattress and staring at his hands rather than the rest of the dressing room he's floating by. this has not been a good week.]

[That would be coming from the rather damp-looking Braig, currently sitting on what looks like it might have once been part of a door. He really didn't need this today, even if he had been out looking for new worlds.]

[Kairi is a pretty good swimmer, but she's no Olympian. Since the flood engulfed most of the Dressing Room, leaving this gigantic pool where dry rooms had once been, Kairi has spent most of her time swimming continuously. She's caught breaks where toppled furniture lies near enough to the surface of the water that she can hang onto it, but as the rain continues to pour, these resting places have become few and far between. Her arms and legs ache. Come to think of it, her entire body is sore. If the water ever drains, Kairi will probably be unveiled having built up a bit of muscle.

But she looks anything but strong now. Her skin is waterlogged, and her fingers and toes are wrinkled. Although she pulled up her hood long ago to keep the rain from moving her hair into her eyes, her hair splays out around her head and her wet bangs have been pushed back to keep her vision clear. Not that there's too much to see now. There's just water. Water everywhere.

She stops to tread water, looking around herself to figure out where she should be swimming to. As her eyes travel down along the wall, darkness overtakes them. She opens her eyes wider in hopes of regaining her vision, but it's no use. Although color and light returns with a pounding headache, her head is spinning and she's disoriented. Her dizziness makes he close her eyes. Her body takes a dangerous dip, and the rest comes naturally. Kairi's sinking, leaving a trail of air bubbles floating up to the water's surface.]

Kairi and lilVan are in luck though, and have been quite lucky for the last few hours. Despite being soaked to the bone, they are quite safe floating on the back of a large, blue, jellyfish like Unversed creature. Anyone need a hand? While neither passenger can really control the ride, Kairi will certainly try to drag anyone she finds onboard!]
