Hey KHD. We've got some changes for you!

First of all, if you go to the profile page, you will notice the community now has some new moderators. Both of our beautiful old moderators, obtains and dinotron gave their blessing for this, so we've gone ahead and added four new people. Myself -- I go by Emily! -- blindfolds, neonlightshow, and hybreedd. We're pretty excited to be getting started with this. :>

One of the first things we're taking care of is adding a ridiculous amount of new tags. Tags for the Apprentices and Master Eraqus have now been added, for instance. We'll just keep piling them on as necessary. You'd be doing us all a favor by checking our tags page and seeing if there's something there that you need/would like to see.

On that note, it's going to take us some time to go back and find old posts that might need a certain tag. Feel free to help out with that effort as well!


Anyway, the second major thing we wanted to do was discuss the making of a new OOC comm. Last time, it was resoundingly voted to keep the old one, but we're hoping to rethink that position.

The most important reason comes down to this: we cannot control the old OOC comm. The old maintainer deleted her account, and that account has been purged. LJ has been contacted in the past, and they've said there's really nothing they can do. It was up to Chibi and Dani to approve OOC posts. This was fine in older times, but neither, by their own admission, is very active in RP at all anymore. Thus, we have to bug them when we want posts approved, and it's a pain for them to be bothered and a pain for us to do the bothering.

If we had a new OOC comm, we could have posts go through immediately. This would give us greater chance for OOC memes when we wanted them, and a much easier time with throwing up, say, organization posts, so people wouldn't have to go through avenues like email or AIM. You could plan interactions and meet-ups right there in our new OOC comm! It would make life easier for everyone in a whole lot of ways.

"heartsroom" is a fantastic name, but we're all creative and awesome people, right? If it is voted that we'll have a new comm, we can pool our resources to come up with another name that's just as kickass, I promise you.

BAM! And it just hit him again! Time to hop out of the way and figure out how to stop the thing, as it's moving quite fast.]
