[a locked door down an empty hallway suddenly clicks open, the door swinging inwards. she's in that room, as she has been since the fear spell, curled up against the far wall and fast asleep. she'd hidden in there from her fear, only for the door to remain closed after the spell had lifted. eventually she'd given up trying to get the door open and decided to either wait until someone came along or until the door unlocked itself.]

[there's a Kai in the kitchen! he's making soup, but after a moment he turns away from the pot on the stove and starts coughing, eventually stumbling over to the sink and spitting a gob of... something like the darkness Heartless are made of into it. he makes a face at it and turns on the water, rinsing it down the drain before going back to cooking like nothing happened.]

[there's a really long piece of red string running down the center of a couple hallways, and if one follows it, they'll find that it leads to a Sora with a ball of yarn in his arms and a paper crown perched on his head, looking for no place in particular.]

[there's a door cracked open in the hall in a rare show of carelessness. when Riku walked into her room earlier, she found a box on her bed - just an ordinary thing, medium-sized and made of wood.

she's sitting on the bed now, legs on either side of the box, knees bent and hanging her face over it as she shuffles through the contents.]
