[taps the corner of a cracker against the inside of his wrist, expression blank, but oddly thoughtful at the same time. he swallows, wets his lips, and then presses another cracker into his mouth as he turns and starts to walk away.]

[turns around mid-walk, moving backwards so he can look at Riku. he swallows again so he can answer, eyes shifting for a second as he presses the back of his hand to his lips and slows down simultaneously. and then he drops his hand and resumes his normal pace, like the bizarre motion ever took place. when he smiles, it's genuine, but nothing spectacular.]

[arches his brows somewhat curiously, eyes tired and a little red, but that's to be expected. in the end, he doesn't really have anything to say, so he just offers him a cracker instead. he doesn't want them anyway.]
