[turns around mid-walk, moving backwards so he can look at Riku. he swallows again so he can answer, eyes shifting for a second as he presses the back of his hand to his lips and slows down simultaneously. and then he drops his hand and resumes his normal pace, like the bizarre motion ever took place. when he smiles, it's genuine, but nothing spectacular.]
