[there's nothing but some choked noises and sniffling for a moment, and then, somewhat stuffy-sounding:]

[It sounds sick when he puts it like that, but he knows it stands regardless. As far as enemies she could have run into, he's one of the worst. He's going to summon a few knives.]

What if I cut off those pretty ears of yours?

[her head flies up so she can stare at him in horror, and she tenses like she's going to retreat to one of her limited options for other places to be, but then manages to hold herself still.]

P-please. Please don't.

[and even as she says it she knows it's pointless. if he goes for it, her only hope is that Aden knows she's in trouble and is smart enough to go get the big guns for help instead of trying to help her himself. the sheer terror filling the space would be enough to knock him down if he tried anyway.]

[Aden has probably gone looking for her by now, or at least the elevator. He'd want to find her after calling her back failed, I'm sure. Larxene looks so smug when she says that, so incredibly merciless.]

Why? You'll live without the use of your ears. Or maybe you'll pick death after, choose to get them back once you're revived. Which would you pick if I mutilated them?

Please, you c-can't expect me to be able to choose, I don't want either...

[they're so very sensitive, the thought of any more pain than what's already been done is unimaginable to her. if Larx finds out about that, that it's more than just their uniqueness and, you know, the fact that they're part of her person, she's well and truly screwed.]

You, princess, are not in any position to tell me what I can and can't do.

[The walls, ceiling, and yes, floor, all ripple up with a thin sheet of electricity, while bursts of lightning crack through the air around her.]

I can't do that, you might as well cut off my legs, it'd be less painful for me!

[she manages to say around the screams and yelps of pain as she writhes on the floor. oops, did that slip out.]

... I can do that, too.

[He leans down into the opening, grinning from ear to ear as the magic cuts off.]

Maybe I'll cut you into pieces and scatter them around the houses and apartments. You'll come back eventually with your precious ears.

[actually she has no idea if it would be less painful, but it seems like it would sort of have to be. she takes the opportunity to catch her breath again, and not respond to Larx, instead curling up in a defensive ball again.]

[He's going to make the elevator plummet again, just to give her a good scare.]

[she's too stressed for that to do much good, and she's at max capacity for scared already; about all that gets is a strangled sort of gasp along with some more tears and some shaking in general terror.]

[He lets it go for longer this time, and it takes more effort to stop it. The cables protest from the effort, and she'll hear the groan of metal against metal as they quickly slow to a stop. But once they have, Larxene jumps down into the elevator with her.]

[she's seeing spots from the emotional overload and the residual pain in her ears just from what little he's already done to them. she attempts to at least push herself away from him, even though there's nowhere to go.]

Please... p-please stop...

Tsk. You're pitiful. I expected way more from the daughter of two of my favorite people. Think about it. Think about all the stories they've told you about me. I know they have. They'd want to warn you, about the dangers of the dressing room, about not to befriend Larxenes, to watch out for the Organization.

[He summons the rest of his knives for that hand and holds his fist up in front of him, each one shining and looking new.]

About what we can and will do to people like you.

[that puts some more life back into her for a moment, because thinking of her parents is sad on the best of days because she misses them, but this just proves that Larxene is a big stupid dumb idiot.]

Of course they warned me, but it d-doesn't mean I can do anything! I can't fight like they can, I don't know enough y-yet! I'm better at fighting in video games than I am in real life!

[He gives her a flat, unimpressed look. You're not very interesting, Inaya. If it weren't for her connections, there would be no value or fun to this at all. So he steps forward to grab her roughly by her hair.]

[then her parents have done their job with teaching her what to do in this situation. not that it's going to save her, but w/e. when he does that, she reaches up to try and grab his wrist, squirming in pain and to try to escape somehow.]

No! Put me down!

[He shakes her violently. He's smaller framed than either of her parents, built for speed more than anything, but he's still strong.]

I'm going to cut your disgusting little ears off and send them to your parents as a gift. You should be thanking me. They're an eyesore.

[she thrashes wildly and tries to kick him or elbow him or something, something to save herself, her own sort of Light shield flickering piecemeal around her, barely visible. she's crying again, because even though she knows he's insane and carefully calculates everything to hurt whoever he's playing with, it still hurts when he says that, all of it.]

[That's not going to wooork~ He doesn't like pain, but he's been through far worse. Because of her parents, even! But here we have a change of plans.]

I bet you've felt that way before. How much easier your life would be, how much more convenient if you were normal. But you're not, princess. You're a freak. Your precious family might love you, but everyone else can see it with their own eyes. You're just her to them. The girl with the ears. And I can tell you now that we've had our little chat that that's all you're good for.

[He dismisses all but one of his knives, and reaches up quickly to grab her painfully by one ear.]

[that makes her scream properly again, in pain and anger, and aim for more sensitive bits, like feet and gut and chin. if he's of slighter build than her parents, hopefully that means his head is at a good level for her to at least crack him in the jaw with her skull or something.]

[He's fairly short enough, it's true. And it works, too, to send a spike of pain up through his jaw and face. It also works to piss him off enough to send a jolt of electricity into her through her ears.]

[yeah, well. at this point it's better if he gets pissed off and just does something already rather than dicking around and taunting her endlessly. shocking her like that gets a sharp scream out of her and leaves her twitching and dazed, but she's still struggling feebly.]

[But he likes taunting people, gosh. Don't worry, he's getting more to the fun now that she's gone and made him angry like that, yanking her up against the wall by her hair. Once he has her there, he pins her there by his arm up against her throat, forcing her head up high.]

I hope your parents realize what a little bitch they've raised.

[she chokes a little and wraps her hands around his arm, trying to push it back even a millimeter. regardless, she manages to gasp out:]

They'll be... proud of me...
