[God, he owes him. Maybe he'll babysit one day. ~~Hell no, no one should ever trust him with a child.~~ He'll be following and showing up... somewhere between five and ten minutes later (that should be enough time to adjust) with her things, and a coat on, and half a chocolate bar in his mouth.]

[by then they'll be home and have Inaya settled in bed somewhere so she can sleep, although she's currently busy cuddling Apricot and smooching him because she missed himmmmm bestest bunny. Axel's parked next to her and petting her hair, because now that she's not in danger he can be fascinated and amazed and proud of how she's grown up.]

[he'll get the door for Aden when he shows up, though it's pretty obvious he doesn't want to be leaving Inaya's side either.]

[He nods and gives Kai a very relieved, very grateful smile. His eyes aren't glowing anymore, at least. But now he's wanting to get inside as soon as possible because fuck they share a house with his parents, who probably know he's here by now, fuck fuck fuck.]

[if they do know, Axel wouldn't put it past Riku to use the excuse of returning the younger version of their kid to them as a way to come over and see Aden. Inaya can tell Aden's here, but that involves some reflexive movements of her ears to pick up the sounds, which fucking hurts right now despite Kai's healing. assuming Aden comes to see how she's doing pretty promptly, she'll have her face buried against Apricot's belly and be making whiny noises when he comes in.]

[don't worry, Aden, Kai is letting you in right away. he heads back to where Inaya is immediately, frowning a bit at what she's doing. his poor bb ;;]

[He's totally fucked anyway, Riku can probably smell him. His sense for darkness is not quite as good as hers, and he can even smell them. But whatever, he's following with the bag, which he totally snuck her favorite candies into underneath her clothes.]

[you're the best, Aden. ;; Axel's rubbing her back soothingly, but then cocks his head abruptly, listening.]

I think our baby is in distress of some sort. I'd better go rescue her from Riku. You two look after this baby while I'm gone.

[Inaya swats at him as he gets up from the bed, but she's hiding a smile in Apricot's fur. Axel leaves the room to go get baby!Inaya back from Riku and see what the shrieking is about. she may just be trying to outdo Aden again, who knows. :|a]

[psh, he didn't have to sneak her favourite candies in. Kai is pretty glad he did that, actually, as he'd been considering asking Aden if he could grab things he knew Inaya liked to eat, too. comfort food, etc. he'll make his way to the bed to sit down in Axel's place.]

[Aden looks vaguely uncomfortable at the mention of Riku, but says nothing about it. Who knows, maybe Inaya's in distress because Riku herself is, because she can sense her teenage son next door oh my god. Also, it's more fun to sneak things in, even if he knows it's not necessary. (ps half the weight of the bag is in candy.) He shrugs off the bag and sets it on the ground by the bed, flashing Inaya and Apricot a small grin.]

He's looking tasty as ever.

[she immediately leans on her other daddy and gives him a sideways hug; Apricot stretches his way off of her lap to go say hello to Aden, because he probably pays no mind to the threats of eating, he's much too big and fuzzy for that.]

He probably thinks the same thing about you.

[Inaya is getting all kinds of (gently) squished in return for the sideways hug.]

[Apricot's getting lots of 'hi's back, and by 'hi's I really mean pettings and fur ruffles.]

[she says, as Apricot oozes back over to her. brb snorfling his tummy again. she'd add that she's really missed her parents, too, but these aren't quite her parents, so she'd feel awkward. :< ]

[he rolls his eyes at Aden's comment.]

[He tilts his head, but only because he's trying to figure out what's going on next door. Sound, scent, whatever. He wants to know.]

Yep! I don't know how we could not be good friends, I'm the only one who puts up with his gross stuff. But yeah, Kira's way scarier than me.

[she dresses baby Aden up in pink stuff, you know. speaking of babies, Axel's back from explaining what the situation was to Riku, telling her that no she can't come sneak a look at teenaged Aden but that he IS quite handsome and creepy, and getting his screeching daughter back (she was in fact howling over Riku being agitated). hope you guys don't mind some baby up in this joint. Inaya, at least, looks quite interested in her baby self.]
