[If you're near this particular kitchen and/or have a decent sense of smell, you might notice that someone's been pretty busy this afternoon.

There's a Riku in said kitchen, still dressed in his pajamas despite being out of his house and it being early afternoon, hanging out by the stove. If the smell doesn't say anything about what he's been doing, then the plate by the stove sure does.

He's been cooking bacon. Just bacon, to the tune of several packages, the empty ones either sitting in a trashcan or around the trashcan, haphazardly tossed there. The plate has a good-sized stack of already cooked stuff on it.

Care to bother him/ask wtf he's doing?]

[Braig hadn't really meant to drop by the kitchen, but well... the scent of bacon is pretty recognizable and he's always been curious.]

Sure you've got enough there?

Don't think I do.

[He stares at Braig for a minute. He seems familiar, but Riku's not sure why. But he doesn't seem threatening at the moment.]

[He won't be threatening until he has a reason to be, and right now bacon is providing a decent incentive not to be.]

Now, the question is do you really think you can eat that much or are you just baking it because you wanna?

[If it's a literal stormcloud, he'll be a little confused. Either way, he raises an eyebrow at her presence.]

That would be bacon.

[it is, in fact, a literal stormcloud and it occasionally rumbles with thunder and the odd tiny lightning bolt]

Why are you making so much of it? That much bacon is unhealthy, unless you're feeding lots of people.

Because I'm hungry. I wasn't planning on eating all of right now.

Oh good. Because you would clog your arteries for sure. Daddy's not even allowed to look at bacon, I think. Except on very special occasions.

[Omg bacon. You've hit one of this pregnant Namine's food cravings there, Riku. Careful now.]

..That's a lot of bacon.

[It's currently one of his food cravings. No stealing.]

...Yeah, I might've gotten a little carried away.

[Larxene leans on the doorway, looking grumpy and slightly pale.]

Can't you do that in your own kitchen?

[Hello thar Larxene he's never met before.]

No.

You're stinking up the whole place.

[She doesn't know why she's so sensitive today, but the smell of bacon is making her sick instead of hungry.]

You don't have to hang around here if you don't like it.

[He doesn't know either, but at the moment isn't entirely sympathetic towards her. He does, however, turn off the stove. He's pretty much done with the cooking part.]

What do you need that much bacon for, anyway? Taking up a part-time job as a blimp?

[after spending a few days starving, he's been eating well in dressing room and really appreciating it. Like right now, he's appreciating potential bacon meal.] Hey, smells good! Is that sharable?

Yeah, it is.

Sure.

[He gestures at the plate, implying that Lea has to come over and get it himself. He doesn't bite, promise.]

[he wasn't actually anywhere in the same building; he caught the scent of bacon cooking from some distance away, and came on in to see if he could mooch some. from the looks of it, there's plenty for him to mooch.]

Please tell me you aren't planning on eating all of that yourself.

[Riku might let him mooch if he asks first. Otherwise no bacon for Axel.]

I wasn't planning on eating it all at once. Why?

Bacon is like. One of my favorite things to eat. And I smelled it from outside and it smelled like a lot of it had been cooking for a while, so I thought I'd come in and see if there was any to spare.

[he is nothing if not polite about other peoples' food.]

[He smiles a little, as if what Axel said amused him.]

There is. I didn't mean to make this much, but I had a craving for it and got carried away.

[Like a positive feedback loop of bacon--the more he made, the better it smelled and the more he wanted.]
