[If you're near this particular kitchen and/or have a decent sense of smell, you might notice that someone's been pretty busy this afternoon.

There's a Riku in said kitchen, still dressed in his pajamas despite being out of his house and it being early afternoon, hanging out by the stove. If the smell doesn't say anything about what he's been doing, then the plate by the stove sure does.

He's been cooking bacon. Just bacon, to the tune of several packages, the empty ones either sitting in a trashcan or around the trashcan, haphazardly tossed there. The plate has a good-sized stack of already cooked stuff on it.

Care to bother him/ask wtf he's doing?]

Bacon is like. One of my favorite things to eat. And I smelled it from outside and it smelled like a lot of it had been cooking for a while, so I thought I'd come in and see if there was any to spare.

[he is nothing if not polite about other peoples' food.]

[He smiles a little, as if what Axel said amused him.]

There is. I didn't mean to make this much, but I had a craving for it and got carried away.

[Like a positive feedback loop of bacon--the more he made, the better it smelled and the more he wanted.]

I know how that goes. But I can usually eat however much I make. I know most people probably can't, though.

[he's sidling further into the kitchen, but still isn't moving for the plate until Riku says it's okay.]

Who said I couldn't? I just said I wasn't planning on eating all of it right now.

[He notices that sidling, and after raising an eyebrow, grabs the plate and holds it out towards Axel.]

I didn't, unless you're Most People. But you look like a Riku to me.

[he takes the plate happily and grabs a hefty portion before handing the plate back. what he took is getting cradled against his chest with one hand so he can eat with the other. bacon grease gives clothing character, you know.]

I'm Riku, yeah. And you're an Axel?

[Yeah, it gives your clothing character, if you count grease stains as 'character'. He takes a smaller amount for himself, setting the plate on the nearby table afterwards.]

Yeah. Have you been here long? I haven't seen you around, I don't think, but I'm not always paying proper attention, either.

[grease stains are delicious later if you need something to chew on while you think. about what your next meal is going to be. /um]

In the kitchen? About two hours. Unless you're talking about the dressing room, then I've been here about a year.

[11 months is close enough, yup.]

I think you're the first Axel I've met. How long have you been here?

Oh jeez, uhh... a little over three years, now, wow. But yeah, Axels are scarcer than they used to be, I guess most of them went home or something.
