[If you're near this particular kitchen and/or have a decent sense of smell, you might notice that someone's been pretty busy this afternoon.

There's a Riku in said kitchen, still dressed in his pajamas despite being out of his house and it being early afternoon, hanging out by the stove. If the smell doesn't say anything about what he's been doing, then the plate by the stove sure does.

He's been cooking bacon. Just bacon, to the tune of several packages, the empty ones either sitting in a trashcan or around the trashcan, haphazardly tossed there. The plate has a good-sized stack of already cooked stuff on it.

Care to bother him/ask wtf he's doing?]

[Braig hadn't really meant to drop by the kitchen, but well... the scent of bacon is pretty recognizable and he's always been curious.]

Sure you've got enough there?

Don't think I do.

[He stares at Braig for a minute. He seems familiar, but Riku's not sure why. But he doesn't seem threatening at the moment.]

[He won't be threatening until he has a reason to be, and right now bacon is providing a decent incentive not to be.]

Now, the question is do you really think you can eat that much or are you just baking it because you wanna?

[Omg bacon. You've hit one of this pregnant Namine's food cravings there, Riku. Careful now.]

..That's a lot of bacon.

[Maybe he'll get some bacon.]

Maybe both. Did you want some?

[lightyin]

[If it's a literal stormcloud, he'll be a little confused. Either way, he raises an eyebrow at her presence.]

That would be bacon.

[lightyin]

[It's currently one of his food cravings. No stealing.]

...Yeah, I might've gotten a little carried away.

[it is, in fact, a literal stormcloud and it occasionally rumbles with thunder and the odd tiny lightning bolt]

Why are you making so much of it? That much bacon is unhealthy, unless you're feeding lots of people.

[That is very strange.]

Because I'm hungry. I wasn't planning on eating all of right now.

[daddyhasagun]

Oh good. Because you would clog your arteries for sure. Daddy's not even allowed to look at bacon, I think. Except on very special occasions.

[lightning flash!]

[lightyin]

[He doesn't notice that lightning flash because he's busy transferring the bacon from the pan on the stove to the plate.]

Why isn't he?

Because Daddy had a heart attack. Now he's not allowed to eat things like bacon. It all has to be healthy so he stays strong.

[the cloud over Kira's head gets darker and rumbles ominously as she remembers how scared she was for her daddy]

I am. I wasn't planning on eating all of it anyway.

[He grabs the plate of cooked bacon and moves it to the table nearby, grabbing a piece for himself as he heads back to turn off the frying pan on the stove.]

I'll bet he hates that, doesn't he?

[Hello cloud.]

...What's with the storm?

Yeah, he does, but it's for his own good.

[and then her face goes slightly red at that question]

Just ignore it!

[lightyin]

Okay, okay. I'll try.

[Attempting to ignore is a go. Turning off the stove now and moving the plate of delicious artery doom to the table.]

Do you want any?

[daddyhasagun]

Sure. But I'm not just eating bacon. Do you want toast? Or eggs?

[lightyin]

[But breakfast was hours ago.]

I can make some toast. You're on your own if you want eggs, though.

[daddyhasagun]

[bacon is usually a breakfast food though, but Kira will be searching through the fridge her stormcloud only rumbling a little]

Hmmmm... maybe we can have BLTs.

[Larxene leans on the doorway, looking grumpy and slightly pale.]

Can't you do that in your own kitchen?

[lightyin]

[It's also a meat product that's easy to cook in large quantities.]

Sounds good.

[He'll join her by the fridge. Feel free to hand him stuff if necessary.]

[you could just throw a roast in the oven; Kira will be passing Riku the lettuce and tomatoes and bread, then rustle up mayonnaise and other condiments]

Well, you're providing the bacon. Might as well use it properly.
