[nods] I'm kind of new to the whole emotions thing myself. The feelings can be a bit ... confusing and overwhelming.

[And why Roxas is telling Riku this, he doesn't really know. Blame it on Sora's heart beating inside of his chest ... it's becoming a very familiar excuse as of lately.]

Yeah. That's smart. Not everyone here that looks like a friend actually is a friend -- what with the whole different universes thing and all. [pause] And the opposite is true too.

[Gives Riku a quick glance over.] Besides your hands, you're doing okay, though?

[Looks very thoughtful at the question as he ponders it before answering slowly.]

You know, that's a funny question. I didn't used to care about Rikus at all before coming here. Maybe being defeated by one just didn't sit well with me.

But Sora cares for his Riku very much. He's searched all over for him ... [mutters guiltily]and he would still be looking for him if it weren't for the fact that I'm here. And I feel what Sora's heart feels.

But since I've been here, I've realized that you can't just judge someone because of the actions of someone else who happens to look like them. I can't just lump all the Rikus together and say that I hate them all for what one did to me because they're not all the same.

To be honest, though, I don't know if I'm acting on what this heart -- [taps his own chest] -- is telling me just because of Sora's memories that it holds, or if part of it is mine now too.

I do know, though, that I don't mind being around you. And I like eating sandwiches with you. [Offers a small grin at the memory.] And ... I don't like to see you hurt.

[Roxas looks at Riku, feeling a bit lost, not knowing how Riku will take what he just said. Who knew that feelings could be so ... complicated?]
