[dated to Sunday morning! because most of this stuff wouldn't be happening at night. it's an overcast morning, and chilly enough that there could be snow if those clouds get any heavier!

prince_number_7 is heading home with a small bag, having gone out to grab a few things quickly. the bag contains a few things from what looks like a hair salon.

shellsandlight is seated in the park, looking a bit underdressed considering the temperature. he doesn't seem very bothered by the cold (living at the bottom of an ocean means having to deal with it, after all), and is currently enjoying a variety of candies that are likely to make him end up sick, more from the rate at which he is consuming them than for their contents.

fadedsketch is having a bit of difficulty pushing a fair-sized "portable" generator down the street. he's heading for his naga friend's den, wanting to give him something to power the electric heaters he's going to be bringing by as well at a slightly later date. he's already brought no doubt dozens of blankets by now.

paopuspirit is stringing tinsel garlands around the old paopu tree near the beach. it's already had some lights strung around it, all the way up to the leaves. how he managed to get it up so neatly is a mystery however.

cheeryskies has just entered the library, a bag slung over her shoulder. she seems set for a day indoors, just reading!

beforeitburned has found his way to an outdoor ice rink that he's never noticed before. there are cubbies full of skates of every size near it, and he's given into a sudden, overwhelming urge to try skating.

If I melt or something, it's your fault entirely.

[He'll blame her forever. By which I mean laugh hysterically when he returns from melting into a hissing puddle like a wicked witch because of whatever Riku did.]

If you melt I'm going to put you back on the ice. You can be a snowman.

[SO THERE. ~~She might be legitimately worried now.~~]

[He really is. He gets a scandalized look for that one. Good gracious, they're in public. ~~Like she cares.~~

You know what she's just not going to talk until they reach their floor.]

[He'll be snickering to himself, in that case.]

[She'll bump her shoulder against his as she walks past him out the door. Hmph.]

[Lead the way, Riku! He's following right behind.]

[It'll take a few minutes for her to find the room, between forgetting where it is exactly and opening doors that are definitely not what she's looking for (robot Santas, walking mannequins, some of Marluxia's unfriendly vines). But she finds it at last, and steps inside. It's a room of pools, circular and steaming with hot water. ...and most of them smell like sweets.]

You are trying to kill me.

[How could she not be, with that smell? He looks a little curious, regardless of his comment.]

Alright, mister sweet-tooth. You've uncovered my evil plan.

[That was completely deadpan. Riku slides into the room to look around, because she's never actually dipped into the pools herself. Just looked.]

You'll come back if it kills you.

You seem awfully sure of that.

[He's following her, don't worry. Hopefully there's a pool that actually has a scent he can stand.]

[She gives him a look, then gestures to the pools.]

Your choice if you want to test it.

I guess I might as well. Help me find a good one.

Bubblegum?

[She thinks she's so funny--]

I would sooner push you into it.

I'd drag you in with me. How about sour apple?

[He rolls his eyes and looks around for something he can at least tolerate. What sort of scents are there? Regular bath-type scents? Bathbomb things?]

[She looks amused, and wanders off a bit farther. There's peppermint! Vanilla! Pumpkin! Chocolate! There's probably all manner of scents. They don't smell artificial, either.]

[He's most tempted to go with pumpkin, surprise surprise. He's definitely not going for the peppermint or vanilla.]

[Big shock. There's a citrus-y one Riku's investigating. Hmmmm.]

[He's crouching near the pumpkin one curiously. If she actually wants him to get in there though she'll have to tell him. He's not going to strip and jump in on his own, sadly.]

[She heads back over when she notices that, hands in her pockets.]

[Maybe he should find a candy corn one instead. ~~I have no idea what that would smell like??~~]
