[dated to Sunday morning! because most of this stuff wouldn't be happening at night. it's an overcast morning, and chilly enough that there could be snow if those clouds get any heavier!

prince_number_7 is heading home with a small bag, having gone out to grab a few things quickly. the bag contains a few things from what looks like a hair salon.

shellsandlight is seated in the park, looking a bit underdressed considering the temperature. he doesn't seem very bothered by the cold (living at the bottom of an ocean means having to deal with it, after all), and is currently enjoying a variety of candies that are likely to make him end up sick, more from the rate at which he is consuming them than for their contents.

fadedsketch is having a bit of difficulty pushing a fair-sized "portable" generator down the street. he's heading for his naga friend's den, wanting to give him something to power the electric heaters he's going to be bringing by as well at a slightly later date. he's already brought no doubt dozens of blankets by now.

paopuspirit is stringing tinsel garlands around the old paopu tree near the beach. it's already had some lights strung around it, all the way up to the leaves. how he managed to get it up so neatly is a mystery however.

cheeryskies has just entered the library, a bag slung over her shoulder. she seems set for a day indoors, just reading!

beforeitburned has found his way to an outdoor ice rink that he's never noticed before. there are cubbies full of skates of every size near it, and he's given into a sudden, overwhelming urge to try skating.

Sometimes I consider myself lucky with this place.

[He doesn't blame her for that 'sometimes' though.]

Sometimes. ...but sometimes, I--

[Scream like a girl and get sucked underwater. Sorry, did you want to continue that conversation?]

[Which has him immediately jerking out of the pool he's in to scramble to hers. What the hell.]

[She resurfaces almost immediately, gasping for air and clawing at the sides of the pool to get out.]

[He's immediately attempting to grab her arm, or arms, trying to get some leverage against the floor to haul her out.]

What the fuck is going on?

[dawnrise]

[She grabs his arm first with one of hers, the other at the edge of the pool to try and pull herself out.]

Something grabbed me.

What did it feel like?

[Is it still holding her? Can he start pulling her out?]

[He can, but that's when she jumps in her skin and yelps. Several rosy red tentacles sweep out of the water, dripping water, and wrap around her waist.]

Oi. Let go of her, before I decide to see how many types of flesh-eating venoms are in my jacket!

[Okay so that's mostly a bluff, not because he doesn't have them in there, but because he'd be hesitant to use them with Riku's skin so close.]

[The tentacles stop pulling... but don't release her. Riku lets go of the edge, which gets her pulled back a little until she drops her hand in the water and summons Way to Dawn. There's a bubbly shriek and then they uncoil from around her, falling away between her legs.]

[He's going to take the opportunity to try and haul her out now, eyeing the water distrustfully.]

[She slicks her hair back and drops her knuckles to the ground, Way to Dawn still out and pointed toward the pool. She looks kind of pissed off, for some reason! Must be all the tentacle marks along her body, especially around her thighs.]

[...and then a Kairi's head is peeking out of the water, looking shy and completely innocent.]

What the fuck.

[Maybe Riku should chop one of that Kairi's tentacles off for Red to take home. He doesn't look terribly pleased either.]

[She stares at them for a little longer, then rises out of the water a little herself. She's not wearing anything whatsoever, and she doesn't look much older than any other Kairi does at, say, fifteen.]

[Whoa whoa whoa. Okay, eyes staying on her face, he's not into people quite that young thanks.]

[She's technically way younger. A few tentacles are out of the water behind her, flicking lazily from side to side, like a cat's tail.]

I was going to play with Riku.

[Riku's moving her keyblade back in front of her. No plz.]

You know, it's usually polite to ask before "playing" with someone. Just because they're naked doesn't mean it's an invitation.

[He sounds soooo displeased.]

[She pouts, then leans forward.]

[Or Kairis. Or anyone aside from Riku, honestly.]

And yeah, but we didn't know you were here. You didn't exactly make it obvious anyone was here aside from us.

I didn't know I was supposed to. Lots of people come in and they don't say anything to me.

[But she looks so disappointed that they don't want to play with her. She's trudging out of the water, though, heading for the door.]

Humans are so weird.

[He rolls his eyes, but obviously he's not about to stop her from going.]
