[dated to Sunday morning! because most of this stuff wouldn't be happening at night. it's an overcast morning, and chilly enough that there could be snow if those clouds get any heavier!

prince_number_7 is heading home with a small bag, having gone out to grab a few things quickly. the bag contains a few things from what looks like a hair salon.

shellsandlight is seated in the park, looking a bit underdressed considering the temperature. he doesn't seem very bothered by the cold (living at the bottom of an ocean means having to deal with it, after all), and is currently enjoying a variety of candies that are likely to make him end up sick, more from the rate at which he is consuming them than for their contents.

fadedsketch is having a bit of difficulty pushing a fair-sized "portable" generator down the street. he's heading for his naga friend's den, wanting to give him something to power the electric heaters he's going to be bringing by as well at a slightly later date. he's already brought no doubt dozens of blankets by now.

paopuspirit is stringing tinsel garlands around the old paopu tree near the beach. it's already had some lights strung around it, all the way up to the leaves. how he managed to get it up so neatly is a mystery however.

cheeryskies has just entered the library, a bag slung over her shoulder. she seems set for a day indoors, just reading!

beforeitburned has found his way to an outdoor ice rink that he's never noticed before. there are cubbies full of skates of every size near it, and he's given into a sudden, overwhelming urge to try skating.

[She gives him a look, then gestures to the pools.]

I guess I might as well. Help me find a good one.

[She thinks she's so funny--]

I would sooner push you into it.

I'd drag you in with me. How about sour apple?

[He rolls his eyes and looks around for something he can at least tolerate. What sort of scents are there? Regular bath-type scents? Bathbomb things?]

[She looks amused, and wanders off a bit farther. There's peppermint! Vanilla! Pumpkin! Chocolate! There's probably all manner of scents. They don't smell artificial, either.]

[He's most tempted to go with pumpkin, surprise surprise. He's definitely not going for the peppermint or vanilla.]

[Big shock. There's a citrus-y one Riku's investigating. Hmmmm.]

[He's crouching near the pumpkin one curiously. If she actually wants him to get in there though she'll have to tell him. He's not going to strip and jump in on his own, sadly.]

[She heads back over when she notices that, hands in her pockets.]

Find one you're interested in?

I guess so.

[Maybe he should find a candy corn one instead. ~~I have no idea what that would smell like??~~]

[Sugar, maybe. Or plastic. Or honey! Whatever, the smell exists. She waits a beat, then steps over so she can unzip his jacket, assuming it's closed.]

[It is closed, yes, and he lets her, though she's getting a bit of a look for that. A 'you could have just told me to' kind of look, but he's not complaining, really.]

[She gives him a look right back and moves behind him to slide it off his shoulders. Mostly so she can lift up his shirt and check out how his back looks.]

[It's uh. certainly getting bruised! Probably not as bad as it could be. He may or may not bruise a little easy as it is.]

[She hums a little in distaste regardless of how bad it is, and drops his shirt back down.]

It's up to you if you get in one or not, but it wouldn't hurt.

[He rolls his eyes and starts pulling off his shirt, feeling his back complain from the action. At least he's not actually feeling the pain that's accompanying that complaining.]

Fine, fine. At least I'm not going to smell like cookies.

I like how cookies smell. And taste.

[Sorry, what, she's folding his jacket for him a few feet away. No double-entendre here.]

I doubt it'd make me taste like a cookie.

[Oh, of course not. Once his shirt is off, he's removing his shoes so he can get to his pants.]

I'd laugh if it did.

[That's not nice, Riku. She'll set his jacket down and take a seat between a set of pools, legs curled up under her. She is totally watching.]

[Enjoy the bony unsexy show, Riku. Once he's completely naked, he'll eye the pool in distaste before moving to lower himself into it.]

Don't hold back your enthusiasm for my sake.

[She's so deadpan today, really. She's going to take off her shirt.]

Going to join me?

[Or is she picking her own pool?]

Not in that one.

[But she'll start removing her shoes. The one she's next to smells like some sort of coconut smoothie.]
