[there is a certain blond Nobody in the art room, dressed in pale blue slacks and a pristine white sweater. he's standing in front of a wide canvas, pastel covering most of it in an image of Destiny Islands - the main island, not the play one - during the holidays. for those capable of sensing it, he is very much without a Heart.]

[She shakes her head, still quiet, and dismissive of that very thought.]

It is ridiculous. But I can't say I blame him for thinking about the islands.

[If Nami is at all aware of her recent emotional breakdown, he'll know why.]

[he's very much aware of it, which is why he just sighs quietly and nods.]

[She straightens up after a minute, and smiles at him.]

But it looks great.

Good. I haven't worked with pastel for a while.

[Kai wanted the memory refreshed, so to speak, so Nami took it upon himself to help with that.]

[That was nice of him.]

Well, you did a good job. It looks perfect.

[Kai didn't voice it or anything, but... well, being in one's head/heart/whatever helps with knowing what they want.]

[Yes, she would imagine so. And she means what she said, too. She remembers the islands on the holidays.]

[then... it's pretty much time to go. he's as done as he's going to be, and will take a moment to put the pastels away.]

[She'd offer to help, but it's not that hard of a task, so she'll just wait and get lost in thought.]

[it really isn't. though once things are put away, he's sort of lost on what to do with the picture itself.]

[Does he not have a room he could store it in?]

[technically? no. he's never been around long enough to need a room aside from Kai's.]

[He should have said something. She can easily find him a nice room. As it is, she's wondering why he's hovering.]

I'm not sure where to put this.

[he hadn't thought of it at all, sorry.]

[What, it was the first thing she'd think of.]

...I should probably get one of those, shouldn't I?

[A small smile quirks her lips.]

There are free rooms near mine if you want to snag one.

[She makes a motion for him to follow her.]

Bring it and come on. We'll do that first.

[he'll pick up that canvas carefully and gets ready to follow.]

[She will lead the way! It's not hard to find her hall, or even her room. He probably knows where it is, too.]

[Good thing she doesn't mind leading, then. Shouldn't take them long.]

Could you pick one for me? I don't really care what it looks like... and I don't want to put this down until I've got a room.

[She will pick the closest one she can that looks comfortable and is not in creepy pale colors.]
