[there is a certain blond Nobody in the art room, dressed in pale blue slacks and a pristine white sweater. he's standing in front of a wide canvas, pastel covering most of it in an image of Destiny Islands - the main island, not the play one - during the holidays. for those capable of sensing it, he is very much without a Heart.]

...I hadn't really... thought about it.

[it's sad, but true. he's never really thought about what he could do once he was actually separate from Kai, and not under anyone's thumb.]

[It makes sense. It's kind of sad, too, but Riku's not giving any indication of that, of course. She just shrugs.]

[Maybe he should wait until after she finds him a suitable Heart to think on that too much. Which she is definitely going to try to do, and soon. She's a lot happier about this than she's letting on.]

[Yeah, she figures he might not. ...Is this the most freedom he's ever had?]

[technically? yeah, it is. he's not in Kai's body. he's not got someone wanting his powers to be used. he's not rushing to assist ~~the plot~~ anyone...]

[How depressing. She's going to not dwell on that right now, because it makes her feel guilty just thinking about it.]

[please don't dwell on it, he'd feel bad. since, you know, he sort of can! sort of. and he doesn't blame Riku at all.]

[She did try her best to make it easier when DiZ wasn't around, you know. But she nods, jerking her head in that direction.]

[She smiles, then! Boardwalks are great for talks. Or just hanging out. Beach-goers unite and such. ~~She would be happy to know he was aware.~~]

[Hey, if it makes him comfortable, it's okay. She's not bothered anyway, and will be silent all the way to the room and out into the sand. It's quite breezy today, and pretty chilly, too, which makes her stop.]

I probably should wear one. Wouldn't do to get sick on my first day out.

[She smirks, then moves away, just a little down the hall, where she knows a few closets are.]

[back to following her for now. good thing he's not picky. he won't take long in the closet.]

[Then she won't have to wait long for him to come out? She's snagging one of her own, by the way - a slightly oversized black jacket, just so she's not freezing in there.]
