[he's seated in a large beanbag chair with Molly on his lap, petting him and looking faintly annoyed with the world at large. after a moment he pauses as if listening to something, then leans down and hugs the kitten.]

I know it's uncomfortable, Kai, but I don't know how to fix this.

I'm sorry I made him fall, but if I hadn't tried to call out, he would've fallen from higher up. The cabinets were creaking.

He hit his head again falling off the bed, so I already know about it and took care of him. But maybe you should try not yelling at little kids and find a person to help instead.

I may have a few tricks to getting around, but I don't think I would've managed to be fast enough to get someone to stop him.
