[he's seated in a large beanbag chair with Molly on his lap, petting him and looking faintly annoyed with the world at large. after a moment he pauses as if listening to something, then leans down and hugs the kitten.]

I know it's uncomfortable, Kai, but I don't know how to fix this.

[bats at his fingers, trying to gnaw on them instead.]

*laughs but lets you gnaw since it doesn't hurt*

I'm not for eating either.

[GNAWGNAWGNAW meanwhile Molly is just watching in amusement and possibly fondness.]

*thinks, then pulls his fingers free so he can tug the pink ribbon from his hair and dangle it in front of you; unfortunately, that makes his long ponytail spill down his back too*

[omg something to attack! immediately goes for the ribbon.]

*dangles the ribbon above your head*

[well he tries to calm his attacks somewhat, keeping his claws tucked away after some mental prodding from Molly.]

[eventually wears himself out and flops on the floor.]

*he picks you up then, and lets you sit on his lap while he pets*

[Molly's tempted to try and wander off while Kaikitten makes himself comfortable.]

*he will notice no matter how enthralled seems by Kaikitten*

[he figures as much, so he just settles down against the wall as far from them as he can, drawing his knees to his chest.]

*sees you out of the corner of his eye and frowns a little*

What're you up to now?

You can sit on a chair instead of the floor.

*d'awwww Kaikitten is all floppy*

[doesn't respond, closing his eyes and ignoring them. Kaikitten is still sleepily batting at Ri.]
