(no subject)

[ It's like something right out of a horror movie. Aden's standing in the closest bathroom, completely uncaring about the open door in light of the fact that the place is covered in blood. There's a lot of it, covering part of his face and both hands, having dripped down his front, and it looks like he's the one responsible by the way it's splashed up in the bathroom sink and splattered across the mirror. Normally, this would be a perfectly acceptable every day deal, but Aden actually looks disturbed and uneasy. Which means this is definitely not your normal every day deal. ]

[He's pinning that bleeding arm to the ground and going for her shoulder with his teeth next, because he can't reach her neck like this.]

[there's a little more life in her at that, because it hurts all over again, but the only sound that comes out is a raspy sort of whine. she'd be crying if her eyes weren't going back in her head.]

[The more she settles down the more he does, but he won't stop until she's passed out or looks like it. Which he's hoping is soon, because he can hear footsteps from down the hall.]

[nope, fuck you, she hears them also and attempts to fight him off one last time, scrabbling at the arm against her throat with one hand and smacking the other one against the floor. she can still make noise, Aden, it just took her a minute to figure out what.]

[He lifts his face away from her again and grits his teeth, letting go of her completely for a split second so he can close both hands around her throat.]

[she gets a split second of air, then, which doesn't really do much. she's still conscious, but just barely, and certainly doesn't have anymore fight left in her, not when her pulse is fluttering erratically under his hands. whoever you are, mystery person, please hurry. :( ]

[The best part of this whole thing... is that it's not the parasites festering in his system that's making him enjoy her panic so much. It's not the parasites that put that horrific grin on his face. But that grin is cut short when a blast of dark blizzaga makes contact with his skull and knocks him clean off of her.]

[good thing she got that split second before, because now that she's not being choked anymore she's able to just reflexively gasp for air, ~~bosoms~~ chest heaving as she coughs and gulps down big lungfuls of delicious oxygen. and now that she's back from the brink, she is crying, because teenaged girls aren't supposed to have to deal with shit like this and it's very stressful and Aden just tried to kill her and he bit her and it hurt a lot and ;O; ]

[Her uninjured arm is getting grabbed and used to pull her back several feet very quickly. Whoever's sliding her around like that must be pretty strong. Oh, it's Riku, only not the one she's familiar with. This one is only a couple years older than her, and while she's never seen either of them face to face like this, she recognizes who they are. Way to Dawn is out, held defensively away from Inaya.]

Get up.

[she stumbles up to her feet, holding her injured arm to her chest and wiping her face with the other hand. she can barely speak, between the tears and the still getting her breath back, but she's still concerned about Aden, even though he nearly killed her.]

P-please... m-make it a fast death for him... I hurt him enough, a-and I don't know what's wrong with him.

[Riku nods, but she's not taking her eyes off of Aden, and subsequently not looking at Inaya at all right now. But she hears her. She's fought zombies before, and this is what it reminds her of most -- that's what she assumed was wrong with him, in fact. She lets go of Inaya's arm and advances on Aden, who hasn't managed to regain his footing completely.

He's on his hands and knees and mostly his side, holding his head, caked with ice, in one hand, and trying to get up at the same time. When he turns to see Riku and Inaya, he looks much more like himself under the blood, and he looks freaked out.]

[yeah, all Inaya can think of is zombies too, or something like it. she wants to look away but can't bring herself too, and she can't help feeling a little hopeful when she sees his expression. it's probably too much to think that ice to the head would have cured whatever was ailing him, but stranger things have happened. Riku can obviously take care of herself if he's just faking it, though.]

[He's not faking it, and drops back to the ground on his ass, shuffling away from her until his back hits the wall. Riku hesitates a little, but she knows that if he is infected with something, even if he's temporarily in control, he won't be for long. Aden knows that, too. It's why he's not protesting, even though the ice did affect the parasites in his head. He shuts his eyes and tilts his head up willingly so she can get to his throat, because he knows that would be the easiest way for her to kill him with that blade.]

[this is making her so upset, but she knows it has to be done. she's going to slap Aden twice when he comes back, actually; once for being stupid enough to let this happen, and then again for getting her hooked on zombie games and movies, in which someone who's infected has to be put down like an animal, even if they're still aware of who they are. you're such an asshole, Aden.]

[He will willingly let her beat him bloody if it makes her feel better. He feels like one already. Riku crouches down and holds her blade up to her throat, looking like she really doesn't want to do this.]

I'm sorry.

[She means that. Even if she doesn't want kids and she doesn't want to end up with a future like theirs, she feels worse than she would if Aden were really a stranger. Aden's eyes crack open, because this is the first time he has ever been within speaking distance of his mom's younger self, but he nods and even manages a weak smile before she drags the sharp edge of her blade across his throat. One of his hands flies up to his throat on instinct as he starts coughing and choking on it, and Riku dismisses Way to Dawn to catch his other hand in her own. She's going to end up with blood splattered all over her front, but she doesn't really care.]

[okay yeah, turning away now, and there are more tears streaming down her face because of everything, but she's being quiet about it. her ears are pinned to the sides of her head, and she's just going to. stand there, arm cradled against her chest, and using the combined force of sad!Kai and sad!Axel to basically just look like the saddest goddamn thing in the world.]

[Her sadness is just going to make everyone feel worse, especially Aden, when his eyes dart to her as blood pours down his front. Riku moves to block at least part of her view of him, holding Aden's face to her shoulder as a gesture of comfort. He appreciates it, and then he's gone. Riku waits a few minutes and then carefully sets him back against the wall and starts making her way toward Inaya.]

[if she could not be sad, she totally would, but look at who her parents are. one has the biggest heart ever, and the other has such pure, intense emotions that he's basically the polar opposite of a Nobody. Inaya does try to stop the tears, at least, as Riku approaches.]

[She looks... like she really wants to say something, but nothing's coming up. Nothing that doesn't sound pathetic to her, anyway. So she steps up and tries to turn Inaya away.]

We need to get you home and see if there's anything in that bite to infect you.

[she nods and sniffles a little, but then forces her more determined face on and turns fully away from the gruesome scene. she's a child of the dressing room, she knows how death works here, and once it's done, that's it, you just wait for the person to come back. it's not fun, and it's certainly not the way it should be, but that's just how it is. hopefully Riku's okay with no talking, though; Inaya's throat hurts too much for that right now.]

[No, she's fine with silence. Inaya can lead, though, because Riku doesn't know where she lives. She's following right beside her, for several reasons. She doesn't want Inaya to be alone right now, and she doubts she wants to be, for emotional reasons and injuries. For another, if she is infected with something, Riku will repeat what she did with Aden. Then someone would have to explain to their parents...]

[well, she seems to be alright, just sad and injured, and exhausted now. it's not too far, at least, maybe a five minute walk at the most, to the same two-family house that Riku's been to before. it's just a little more crowded from the sides. \o/ there are probably toddler toys all over the porch.]

[the door is being flung open before they've ever reached the porch, with this guy damn near sprinting out.]

[Riku freezes where she is, alarmed but sort of- staying back. Inaya should know how to explain it, and Kai knows how to deal with everything, so her presence is mostly unnecessary. But--]

Don't heal her yet.

[but talking. :( she practically falls into Kai's arms, though, and manages a little bit of an explanation.]

Something happened to Aden... he went crazy and attacked me.

[there, you take it from here, Riku. that was kind of an explanation but knowing Kai it'll just make him more worried.]
