[ There are some things Riku just isn't very good at. Ice-skating is one of them. This is only a problem as the streets have frozen over completely. It's cold enough that snow could start (and stick) any day now. Has that fountain always been there? Probably. Now it's iced over, a frozen work of art spilling out into the streets. It's almost hard to find ground that isn't coated in a thick layer of ice. Riku's holding onto a lamp post, trying to get her footing enough to get back to the apartments. She's not the only one. I mean, there's a tentacle monster trying to suck on a piece of ice still attached to the fountain. ]

[Someone seems to have survived Halloween more-or-less intact. Except he's still blue, and still has a tendency to literally drop in on people from above. He's hovering a few feet over Riku's head now, peering down at her.]

[Why didn't she put on anything thicker than a turtleneck? Why? This lamp post is freezing. She pauses to look around for Roxas, perplexed when she doesn't see him on the ground.]

[Look who's back to his normal! And just as bad at ice-skating as his female counterpart. He's having some luck (slowly) traversing the ice by using his keyblade as a walking stick/ski pole-type thing to keep upright. The messenger bag full of books hanging from one shoulder isn't helping his progress any.]

That post isn't going anywhere anytime soon, you know.

[Not that he doesn't have a good idea why she's holding on to the post, he just wants to bug her about it.]

[That is a really good idea, the keyblade thing. She would steal it (the idea, that is) but she's not too keen on letting go of that post.]

[Over here, we've got an Aqua, well-wrapped up even down to more sensible footwear than her usual. She's crouching down trying to encourage a couple of her Keywraiths forward onto the ice.]

[Sora's all bundled up for the weather and... sliding around on the ice while sitting on a sled, using brief bursts of aero magic to propel herself. interesting use of it! but she's going to end up crashing into the fountain at this rate.]

[Nocturne chuckles a little as he spots Kairi. Of course, this might get tricky, because he's no good at ice-skating either.

On the other hand... he pulls off his gloves and lays them on the layer of ice. Once the thin layer of water beneath them is big enough, he steps onto it, using his control over water to steer himself carefully past Riku to go greet the tentacle monster. Creative use of powers ftw!]

[If Kairi really knew the extent of his powers she would be very impressed! She stops what she's doing when she hears him, mouth still open against one of the icicles.]

[Need some help? This one is passing by with no problem. How is he doing that? Well, it probably has something to do with the way his footsteps are melting through the ice. He notices her slipping over there and heads over.]

More or less.

[Her hands are freezing as is her nose, and she's basically stuck if she doesn't want to try skating around and risk cracking her head open... but other than that she's good.]

[Here, have a fuzzy, warm littlexas to help you out. He's wearing a big coat because he hates the cold, but his hands are bare, and still toasty, as he reaches out to grab her arm to help steady her.]

I didn't realize it was so icy...

[Because he doesn't realize he's burning through the ice...]

[who is this passing by? it's a dude in a t-shirt, jeans, and no shoes! he won't be putting shoes on voluntarily until there's actual snow on the ground, thank you very much. he spots Riku and the trouble she seems to be having, and makes his way over there.]

[She slips a little when she hears him, ending up almost sitting mid-air with her arms wrapped around the pole, her legs out straight in front of her. She stays where she is, holding onto the pole tightly to prevent her butt from hitting the floor.]
