[ There are some things Riku just isn't very good at. Ice-skating is one of them. This is only a problem as the streets have frozen over completely. It's cold enough that snow could start (and stick) any day now. Has that fountain always been there? Probably. Now it's iced over, a frozen work of art spilling out into the streets. It's almost hard to find ground that isn't coated in a thick layer of ice. Riku's holding onto a lamp post, trying to get her footing enough to get back to the apartments. She's not the only one. I mean, there's a tentacle monster trying to suck on a piece of ice still attached to the fountain. ]

[Someone seems to have survived Halloween more-or-less intact. Except he's still blue, and still has a tendency to literally drop in on people from above. He's hovering a few feet over Riku's head now, peering down at her.]

[Why didn't she put on anything thicker than a turtleneck? Why? This lamp post is freezing. She pauses to look around for Roxas, perplexed when she doesn't see him on the ground.]

[Look who's back to his normal! And just as bad at ice-skating as his female counterpart. He's having some luck (slowly) traversing the ice by using his keyblade as a walking stick/ski pole-type thing to keep upright. The messenger bag full of books hanging from one shoulder isn't helping his progress any.]

That post isn't going anywhere anytime soon, you know.

[Not that he doesn't have a good idea why she's holding on to the post, he just wants to bug her about it.]

Yeah. Looks like I'm not, either.

[That is a really good idea, the keyblade thing. She would steal it (the idea, that is) but she's not too keen on letting go of that post.]

[He thought so too. She should steal it, he won't mind.]

What, are you going to wait until the ice melts?

That's okay, I didn't notice.

That might take a while.

[She will in a minute. First she's going to be stubborn and try to let go of it to stand on her own on the ice. It's not working out so well with these shoes.]

[Clearly she needs better shoes. Not like he's one to talk while wearing well-worn sneakers that are ineffective against ice.]

Probably, but it'd be interesting to see who gave in first, you or the ice.

[Aaand he's going to make his way closer to her now.]

[What do you think she's wearing? These things are no help at all, man. And it looks like Riku's going to give in first, when she starts wobbling dangerously backwards.]

[Her favorite sneakers, much like he is? And he's going to temporarily forget that he's also standing on ice and try to rush over and and catch her.]

[Oh god. They might have had a chance otherwise but they're both going to go down hard now, aren't they?]

[Eeyup. At least whoever goes down second will have a cushion if they happen to fall on the other one. He gets close enough to her before slipping to fall almost beside where she's standing.]

[Bowling for Rikus 101. She's going down with a yelp, but not before she grabs his arm on reflex.]

[Rikus are good bowling pins? Yeah, grabbing his arm isn't going to do her any good, it's just going to make her more likely to fall on top of him.]

[Too bad, she makes the better cushion. Don't crack your head open, boyself.]

[Of course she does, her whole chest is a cushion. But he's heavier than she is and might squish her. He hasn't hurt his head too badly, but his shoulders have taken a pretty good hit. Screw you ice.]

Auugh...ow.

Sorry. Thought I had it.

[Maybe Rikus shouldn't interact. They tend to get each other in trouble a lot. She's going to try and pull herself off of him, but she might end up slipping again and jabbing him in the gut with her elbow.]

[But those interactions are the best ones.]

[That one was weaker. Oh, she feels bad for that one, and is just going to push herself away from him completely and try to crawl back to the lamp post.]

[There's a laugh from somewhere above you, Riku!]

[She glances up and raises both eyebrows. Both to see him still in costume and to see him floating.]

At least you're having fun.

[Maybe. Possibly. They won't know for sure until they try it.]

[That look she's giving him doesn't exactly reek of confidence.]

[It could've been worse; she could've elbowed him in the groin, and he would be in a lot more pain and probably more angry. As it is, he's more surprised than hurt, and recovers a minute later, sitting up and rubbing at one of his shoulders.]

[Once she's on her feet again she's hooking one foot around the lamp post and leaning over to offer him an arm. No poledancing jokes.]
