Alright, how is this a costume? Seriously?

[Kai is looking just a teensy bit different this morning. he'd been on his way to do a bit of shopping, but now he's left sort of shifting awkwardly in place as he tries not to fall over. sure, he's been a pony before - both the regular sort and the oddly proportioned cartoon sort - but those times he was fully equine, not... a bunch of pieces stuck together while still being mostly human from the waist up. his hand moves to the single, off-center horn coming out of his forehead and he frowns briefly. this entire 'costume' is going to prove rather inconvenient.]

Well... you know how legos come in different colors and you can stack them together however you want? You're technicolor. I'm pretty sure from the colors that you're... uh... all sorts of different horse-like animal parts.

[he sounds amused, twisting his upper body around a bit to examine his horse end.]

The middle is definitely a zebra... do you think the front is just a regular horse?

I'm a specific kind of guy! And... uh. I don't know much about horses. I don't even know if you're... well... a boy horse. It would be rude to, uh, check.

[...why did you have to say that, Ri. now he's curious, and trying to bend his human half forward so he can try and see underneath himself.]

Yeah, it's... an interesting 'costume' to say the least.

Very Halloweentown-ish, at least. I guess that counts.

I guess so. Still, I think I'd have preferred a more... classic costume.

... at least you're not a zombie? Or dead. I usually end up dead during Halloween.

[Ri will be cautiously poking the different horse parts of Kai with one finger, trying to be careful and making sure to not get close to those sketchy looking stitches; he'd feel terrible if he made Kai fall apart]

[he snorts, shifting in place.]

'Sort of' isn't really feeling properly though. Can you... move around okay? You aren't falling down or anything, are you?

Yes, I can move. It happens pretty automatically, though I've gotten a bit wobbly once or twice. Not enough to fall.

At least you don't have to think too hard about it. I'd hate for you to end up a mess of horse parts.

That would definitely be unfortunate. Especially since with no pockets, I can't call someone to help me if I fall apart.
