[Momxene is a woman on a mission.

What with the trouble she's had with a certain vampire recently, she's finally started looking for ways to protect herself. In particular, she wants to keep him out of her head, but she wouldn't complain about being able to hurt him for real while she's at it.

So isn't it lucky, then, that the vampire room is still around? As before, it's stocked with goods both pro- and anti-vampire; it shouldn't be hard to guess which section she headed to. Akane's with her as well, but with so many weapons around Larx is keeping a close eye on her.

She left the door open, since she finally got ahold of a child-sized black coat for Akane in case they need to make a quick portal escape. Sneaking up on them isn't recommended, though, since Larxene will still attack first if startled. ~~which means you should totally sneak up on them~~]

How do you know her name?

I asked her.

[he gives the side of his head a couple little taps. he's gotten better at the mind thing, but doing it to a child is a lot easier than an adult.]

[Congratulations, Riku, that's just the thing to make Larxene want to kill you! She pulls Akane close to her with one hand, electricity arcing around the other as she considers the merits of blasting him off the ceiling.]

Stay out of our heads.

[he looks a little taken aback; he hadn't even tried with Larxene, but now he's almost tempted. not enough to get electrocuted though.]

It makes sense now, why you're here. You met another vampire, didn't you?

[oh, jeez. how to get out this without getting singed? or worse, considering which side of the room she's on. he's very susceptible to many, if not all those weapons.]

He did the mind trick with you?

[buuut he's going to take that as a yes.]

[the sparks go out, but she still looks pissed.]

Didn't expect you to listen.

I'm not even sure that I could if I wanted to, honestly. I'm not normally a vampire.

[but he does like the perks. one of which is not having an angry Larxene shooting sparks at him.]

[She just continues to glare at him. After he admitted to reading Akane's mind Larxene doesn't believe he can't do it.]

[he sees that look and sighs.]

I mean it, really. It's just easier to read hers because she so young she doesn't have mental barriers. She might as well be broadcasting what she's thinking.

Just. Stay away from us and there won't be trouble.

It's not like I knew you'd be in here.

[he's watching her warily, but there's a reason he's in here. he's hungry, and heard there was a supply of blood to be found in one of the DR's rooms. a supply would mean he didn't have to depend on others.]

[Must suck, then, having someone standing here all full of blood.]

[also yes, he can sense her heart beating and how nice her blood smells, but he'd rather not be fried in the attempt to bite her. he likes his dinner willing, thanks.]

[He... actually thinks she can beat him? That's a nice change.]

[more like he knows he'd be taking some damage, and that would mean needing even more blood to help himself heal. he doesn't want to fight her anyway, even if she didn't have a kid.]

[nah, he isn't going to attack her. he's more concerned about the kid, really, after piecing together what he's learned so far.]

From what you've just told me, there's another vampire that likes to mess with your head. What if he can't get in?

[she tries to stomp down the swell of hope that comes with those words. Surely he doesn't mean he knows how to stop Axel. She's never that lucky anymore.]
