[Momxene is a woman on a mission.

What with the trouble she's had with a certain vampire recently, she's finally started looking for ways to protect herself. In particular, she wants to keep him out of her head, but she wouldn't complain about being able to hurt him for real while she's at it.

So isn't it lucky, then, that the vampire room is still around? As before, it's stocked with goods both pro- and anti-vampire; it shouldn't be hard to guess which section she headed to. Akane's with her as well, but with so many weapons around Larx is keeping a close eye on her.

She left the door open, since she finally got ahold of a child-sized black coat for Akane in case they need to make a quick portal escape. Sneaking up on them isn't recommended, though, since Larxene will still attack first if startled. ~~which means you should totally sneak up on them~~]

[Was looking into getting some blood wine, as he doesn't trust the one in the vampire bar, with all their weird side effects.

But now he's backing into the shadows of the room so he can watch curiously. Chances are he wasn't seen. He retreated the moment he heard someone outside even before the door was opened.]

[Larx is pretty focused! Akane's looking around, though, so if he moves she might spot him and start to wander his way- until mommy notices and grabs her at least.]

Stay put. You'll hurt yourself.

[He wouldn't hurt her. He has a very strict no hurting kids rule.

He might pull some candy out of his pocket and toss it to her when Mommy isn't looking though. He had some left over from Halloween that he cant eat anymore due to not being human again.]

[Aww, look at the way her face lights up! Unfortunately, Larxene turns around to check on Akane shortly afterwards to find her nomming on candy she didn't give her.]

Where did you get that?

[Grins and shrinks further back into the shadows in the corner.]

[Akane points in the direction the candy came from. Hey, she doesn't know any better. Larxene starts towards him.]

Who's there? Come out!

[He doesn't see any harm in revealing himself, as he didn't mean any harm.]

Problem?

[He will likely be less friendly with Mom than he was with Akane. He wont hurt her, but he wont be polite either.]

That had better have been normal candy.

[Rolls his eyes.]

Of course it was. I wouldn't have given it to her otherwise.

Never know around here. Any reason you were hiding?

[She's a tad paranoid. :|]

Most humans dont appreciate my company. I was just waiting until you finished whatever you came in here to do so I could finish looking around.

[But since she knows he's here now, back to the blood wine! Hmm...He hasn't tried that one yet..]

[Now she realizes what he is. Since he doesn't seem interested in attacking, she stomps on the urge to run away, but she'll be keeping Akane extra close. If she had a leash, the kid would be on it.]

Well, gee, it's not like I have a good reason not to "appreciate" your kind or anything.

[They do make kid leashes!]

I take it I'm not the first vampire you've met then.

[Hmmm...He'll take a few bottles so he doesn't have to come back for a while. He'll have to find a decent wine rack later.]

[his steps don't even make a sound as he enters the room, though his original motive for entering has changed the moment he knew someone else was in there. he's staying out of Larxene's range of sight for now, going so far as to push off the floor with one foot, gliding his way up into the corner of the ceiling to watch.]

[It doesn't take long for her to feel like she's being watched, though, and it makes her nervous. She keeps Akane closer to her, ignoring the toddler's protests at being held back, and abandons her browsing of the vampire defense items to look around the room for the stalker.]

[she won't find him, unless she decides to look up. he's noticed not many people tend to do that, generally. but he is on the pro-vampire side of the room, far away from the garlic.]

[Of course, she doesn't look up, but she's still convinced she's not alone.]

Hello?

This isn't really a place to bring kids, you know.

[his feet are to the wall and he's crouched so that it almost looks like he's sitting, one arm resting across his knees and that hand holding his elbow, which is propping up his chin.]

[jerks in surprise and finally looks up. What is this, a Rikubar? (Xigku?)]

Her dad needed a break.

[Wait, what did she just say? Oops.]

[the admission doesn't phase him, given where they are. he only looks a little speculative, but still pretty relaxed.]

Try to keep Akane away from the crossbows, then.

[wait, how did he know her name--]

How do you know her name?

I asked her.

[he gives the side of his head a couple little taps. he's gotten better at the mind thing, but doing it to a child is a lot easier than an adult.]

[Congratulations, Riku, that's just the thing to make Larxene want to kill you! She pulls Akane close to her with one hand, electricity arcing around the other as she considers the merits of blasting him off the ceiling.]

Stay out of our heads.

[he looks a little taken aback; he hadn't even tried with Larxene, but now he's almost tempted. not enough to get electrocuted though.]

It makes sense now, why you're here. You met another vampire, didn't you?
