[this pregnant female Axel is reclining on a couch in the common area closest to the family hall, dozing a little with an arm draped over the bulge of her stomach. she jerks awake, though, when there's a sudden spasm that kind of hurts. she's dozed off again, fifteen minutes later, when it happens again, and she sits up a little, looking alarmed.]

[when Riku sees her going for one those he's going to swiftly turn to face the opposite direction, though for other reasons than what the other Riku or even Kai might realize. his eyes are a little wider than usual, and he's focusing right on Axel's face and trying not to remember Xigbar's version of an examination. is that what's going to happen to Axel?]

[ohgod I'm going to die. reaches out and grabs Kai's sleeve, pulling him closer so she can wrap her arms around his waist and press her face against his hip, taking a deep breath to try and relax. you have to help me, husbandu. ;o; ]

[he will do the best he can, letting his Light wash over her to hopefully help her relax as he runs his fingers through her hair.]

[Stop that, you are not dying. Once she's got the glove on, Riku's moving back over and move the sheets around. She's just straightening it out, folding it up once or twice; it won't go past Axel's knees, don't worry. She can feel her way up. ...though she's kind of hesitating now, of course.]

[she probably didn't mean him, but he's taking a steadying breath all the same. and still not looking. there is something nagging him, though.]

A-aren't you even going to use lube?

[freezes when she hears that question, and then starts shaking with laughter, muffling the initial snort against Kai's hip. this might be followed by hysterical tears, but whatever. go Riku go, while she's moderately relaxed-- ]

[tries not to laugh as well, smiling faintly in Riku's direction.]

Axel's got girl bits at the moment, Riku. It's not quite as necessary... though it might help. Up to you two.

[That's a pretty epic facepalm, Riku! She's using her non-gloved hand for that, too, for safety reasons. She's so glad Axel finds it funny.]

[...his face is flushing with embarrassment, finally starting to put things together. he almost reaches for his coat pocket, before remembering he was trying to wear normal clothes more often for younger!Kai and Kira]

[reaches past Kai to the nightstand and grabs the bottle of lube that's sitting right out there in the open, how scandalous. she twists and holds it out for olderku to take, looking a little more relaxed and calm-- no, nevermind, there's the pain back. ends up dropping the bottle in her reflexive curl, and the hand still at Kai's hip is probably going to leave a bruise.]

[he will suffer in silence, because this is definitely not as bad as what Axel's going through.]

[If she could do anything to help with the pain, she really would. She's catching the bottle quickly after it's dropped, though she's hesitant to do anything with Axel tensed like that.]

N-nothing, go on. It's just pretty close to ready to come out, it feels like, but go ahead and check.

[her voice is wobbly, from the pain and impending weirdness, but she looks pretty determined to BE OKAY WITH IT ALL, and she's making a serious effort to be relaxed. takes the pillow from Slaveku, too, giving him a little smile and tucking it against her back.]

[just. pets Axel's hair softly. he's going to be fretting until that babby is actually out, dammit.]

[Riku's really hesitant, but if Axel's sure about it, then okay. She's coating her fingers in more lubricant than is probably necessary, and then leaning on the bed with her other hand so she can slip the gloved one under the sheet and oh god she has to pause because she never thought she'd be doing this ever, but here she goes easing a finger inside. Just one for now, if someone wants to perform a mercy kill before she has to resort to two.]

[not looking, not looking, not- okay, he peeked a bit out of the corner of his eye, but relaxed a bit when he realized the sheet was still blocking the view.]

[yeahhhhh this is pretty fucking weird. but she's too focused on staying relaxed around the horrific pain in her body to really think on how weird it is. she's got her face pressed to Kai's hip again, and a white-knuckle grip on his shirt, her breathing rapid and shallow. if Girlyku gets that far, she should be able to tell that yes, Axel's basically ready for pushing now. :|;; ]

[he will just pretend it's not his best friend sticking her hand in his husband's vag, and will just run his fingers through Axel's hair in a comforting manner.]

[At least she's trying to be as gentle as possible? She'll understand if Axel kicks her in the face, though. But yes, seeing as that's exactly what she's looking for, once she's measured it based on what she knows, she's pulling her hand out and peeling the glove off.]

[he's hanging back, still kneeling by the side of the bed to watch worriedly.]

Do you want something to bite on?

[goes a little pale, expression worried and maybe a little scared. she knew pushing was involved somewhere, but now that it's time to, it sounds a lot more painful than what's already been going on.]

Um. N-no, Riku, but thanks. I have a feeling I'll be too busy screaming to bite things.

[takes a slow, deep breath and starts repositioning, sitting up and scooting back against the pillows, sheet still draped over her legs. even as she's moving, the need to push starts making itself known, which is a little comforting. she was actually a little uncertain about how that part of it worked, whether it was like pooping but from a different place or what--]

[he's moving to give Axel his hand to squeeze should she need to, not at all caring how hard she could possibly end up squeezing.]

[Riku's just going to hover over by the wall, mostly away from the bed, but ready to leap into action if she needs to! But, just so she knows-]

You'll be fine, Axel.

[nods at Axel's answer, looking a little unsettled at the screaming comment. but then, he'd probably be prone to that too if he were about to push a watermelon through such a small opening in his body.]
