[ Riku would like to think that, one day, she'll get over this. She knows she's herself now, no one else, but there are times when the effects Ansem had on her really make themselves known. And she's really getting sick of this neverending cycle. Especially when even her skin changes colors.

She's kneeling just inside the entrance to Halloween Town, bent over so far that her hair brushes across the ground. Her forehead rests across one arm for support, fingers digging into the dirt, while the other hand clutches at her chest. Her altered appearance aside (and we don't mean her normal black costume), there might be something more worrying about this picture. There are Shadows rising from the floor around her. ]

[At the moment, he'd do... well, almost anything related to this that she asked him to do.]

[She's grateful for that, and nods. Riku figures he would know more about this than anyone, so...]

I'm not going to take any chances with this. I'm going to lock myself up that night until it's over, or we know what's going to happen.

[She pauses, frowning faintly.]

I don't want to end up hurting someone.

Right. It should be pretty easy to find a place to do that.

[Can we head for a bathroom now so we can clean up stuff.]

Mm. It wasn't hard when I was bitten by that zombie.

[Yes please, that would be nice. The wolf's dead, right?]

Maybe you should make a monster checklist and check off the stuff that's already bitten you.

[What is humour. Also yes, the wolf is very dead.]

Sure. I'll find a vampire next.

[She snorts at that. And good, because Riku would look back to check, just to make sure. Since it is, they can start walking. Don't be surprised by her cradling her arm.]

Sounds good to me.

[Of course he isn't surprised by that. Once they get to a bathroom, he'll clean it up and bandage it properly. And give her a sling.]

[Riku will look totally unhappy about the sling, and reluctant to use it. And, hey, what about that injury under his corset?]

[It really isn't that bad! Compared to hers, anyway. The corset caught most of the claw. Though sadly it's going to result in a shredded jacket once they leave the room.]

[...what. But... but. No, it's his jacket. Riku's going to be totally shocked to see it like that.]

[Well, he'll get it back eventually. His jacket was mysteriously in his room after he burned to death that one time.]

[But still. Red's jacket. Sadface and such.]

[True. Shall they exit, then, so there can be sadfacing?]

[Yes. It deserves a proper sadface.]

[Well, exiting, then. His clothing goes back to what he was wearing before... but it's just as damaged. Meaning the front of his jacket and the shirt underneath are heavily shredded, which would be why he's swearing under his breath.]

[Considering her string of luck lately, that sound alarms her. She's quick to turn his way, and frowns.]

Your jacket...

Yeah, looks like it's toast.

[For now. He's not even sure he'll be as lucky as last time, since the last time it got ruined, it was completely destroyed.]

[~~Obviously he should set it on fire.~~ ~~Sadface is go--~~ Man. She just...she doesn't even know what to do. She's going to scratch a hand through her hair.]

This sucks.

It does.

[But he seems more concerned about her injury, really.]

[She's more or less trying to ignore it. It's a good distraction from her darkness, actually, but... it hurts. Still, right now she's thinking about his jacket.]

Can anything else go wrong today?

Do you really want to say something like that, considering what's gone wrong so far?

[Well she might want to follow, since he's heading for the closest bathroom.]

Not if it's going to jinx me.

[She's following! And you can be sure she's going to make Red take care of his injury once they get there, if she has to wrap it up herself.]

[He'll be stubborn and won't let her do anything until that bite is taken care of. :|]

[Quite so. Bathroom coming up! He's got his arms folded over his front to keep the jacket mostly in place.]
