[ Riku would like to think that, one day, she'll get over this. She knows she's herself now, no one else, but there are times when the effects Ansem had on her really make themselves known. And she's really getting sick of this neverending cycle. Especially when even her skin changes colors.

She's kneeling just inside the entrance to Halloween Town, bent over so far that her hair brushes across the ground. Her forehead rests across one arm for support, fingers digging into the dirt, while the other hand clutches at her chest. Her altered appearance aside (and we don't mean her normal black costume), there might be something more worrying about this picture. There are Shadows rising from the floor around her. ]

[Grins weakly, before looking back to the injury with a frown.]

You're definitely infected, but the upside is that all the werewolf bites I've seen heal fairly quick, considering their size. It'll most likely scar, and your arm might feel weaker for a while, but it isn't going to be messed up permanently.

I guess that's one good thing.

[She sounds so enthusiastic. Watch as she moves her fingers around to test how she can move it. Now watch her wince and curl her fingers into a fist.]

Mmhm.

[And he... watches her do that, still frowning. Man, he is not very happy with that room right now.]

[Oh please, it wasn't the room's fault. Riku figured she could handle a potentially dangerous werewolf. She is actually extraordinarily calm about the whole prospect. But Red probably wouldn't like hearing her voice her thoughts on it, so-]

[Yes but why was the werewolf even there in the first place.]

It could. You could be dead.

[~~Sadistic muns?~~ ~~Adventure.~~ Halloween Town. Riku does not ask for explanations.]

I could be dead, I could have my arm ripped off, I could be completely losing control of myself right now... None of those are anything I want to experience again.

[She might have went off on a tangent there, but she's still calm.]

... This is definitely not the worst.

[Again with the deflating. She leans over, resting her head in her (non-injured) hand.]

[He shrugs, putting a hand over his own injury.]

[Oh yeah. Hang on, she's reaching for his hand.]

[Rolls his eyes a bit, but moves his hand.]

[Don't you roll your eyes at me.]

Just stay still and I'll do it.

[I will roll my eyes at whoever I want to.]

Yeah. It'd get it done faster than leaving you to do it.

[Shoots him a pointed look.]

I'm hurt by the accusation. At least clean yourself up a bit first. You can't really do anything with my wound if you're just getting your own blood all over it.

[Pokes his stomach. ~~To test his reaction? Of course not.~~]

[kdsjghs why. Hunches over a bit, because ow, you know what, he didn't even turn the thing off all the way this time, to remind himself to take care of it.]

[Aha. She twists around, facing the faucet ~~since she's sitting right next to it on the countertop~~ to wash her hands.]

[No, but she wanted to check herself instead of ask if he'd turned it off. Clearer answers that way, you know.]

[Well now is kind of not the time for secret answers, so he probably would've told her.]

[Too bad. Riku is now distracted by her having visible difficulty washing her hands. Well, it's not so much that it's difficult as it's taking longer, since she's trying not to trigger more pain.]

[As long as she's not hurting herself. He'll just chill here and watch.]
