[ Riku would like to think that, one day, she'll get over this. She knows she's herself now, no one else, but there are times when the effects Ansem had on her really make themselves known. And she's really getting sick of this neverending cycle. Especially when even her skin changes colors.

She's kneeling just inside the entrance to Halloween Town, bent over so far that her hair brushes across the ground. Her forehead rests across one arm for support, fingers digging into the dirt, while the other hand clutches at her chest. Her altered appearance aside (and we don't mean her normal black costume), there might be something more worrying about this picture. There are Shadows rising from the floor around her. ]

Huh. That's... interesting.

[Now she's wondering what that first time was like, and wondering why it happened. And possibly jealous, because her arm hurts like hell. Notice the fact that she's still using it a little.]

[Stupid Riku, while the turning-things-off might seem nice, it's what led to him wanting to figure out just how much his body could take in the first place.]

[Psh, she guessed that a long time ago, when he let himself get killed. Why else would he do it? She's cleaned about as much as she can, so she'll start dressing it up. With difficulty.]

[Because he's crazy? And he's frowning at the hard time Riku's having with this.]

I could probably do it myself, you know.

I know.

[Does she sound like she cares? No. Even if her bad hand is shaking, it's light and not what's hindering her. ~~She knows he's crazy, too.~~]

[FROWNING AT HER but he's not going to stop her unless she starts visibly having more trouble. Stubborn Rikus are too hard to deal with, gosh.]

[Nope, she's doing her best to keep it hidden. It might take her longer than it normally would, but she'll get it done.]

[He'll let her do it, then. At least it's something to concentrate on?]

[It is, and god knows that's something she needs right now.]

[He's happy to help with that! ...Especially since he wasn't much help earlier.]

[Hey, he stopped it from biting her arm off. Riku's just glad it didn't get someone else and kill them.]

... There.

[He should've jumped in sooner and stopped it from biting her at all.]

[Should've, would've, could've. Riku shrugs a bit and straightens, taking a step back.]

[He puts a hand over the bandages for a moment, then slides off the counter.]

You might want to consider taking some painkillers for your arm at some point.

I was planning on it.

[She's cradling it again, up over her chest.]

Good.

[How about now? After all, they're in a bathroom.]

[Yes, she's looking through the cabinet for something now.]

[Good, good. He's going to poke at his bandages a bit more.]

[Painkillers are not hard to find. She grabs a bottle, shakes it to guess how many are in there, and then closes the cabinet.]

What are you doing?

Passing time.

[No, really. This is the kind of shit he does to pass time sometimes.]

By doing what?

[Why is he so weird.]

Feeling the wound.

[Through the bandage, yes. That's totally healthy.]

[Stares at him.]

[;D What, he hasn't had a werewolf-related injury in a while. But okay, he's stopping.]

[Her eyebrows go up at that. Just nod and fish out your pills, Riku.]
