[ There is a Riku sitting on the beach, completely soaked. But she hasn't been in the water. It's raining loudly, thunder cracking across the ocean. There's an open and abandoned umbrella at her side, and the sand all around her is smooth and clear, except for the messy remains of her footsteps. It gives the feeling that everything's been washed clean. Propped up against the doorway sits a stroller; yes, she has her baby with her, but unlike his mother, he's quite protected, bundled up in a tiny raincoat and extra clothes underneath. He's quite safe. And while that coat has a hood, that's all there is to shielding his face. There's no point in hiding him anymore. ]

[Well, someone's plopping on the side the umbrella isn't on after a silent hello to Aden.]

[Aden is sitting quite comfortably in mommy's lap. Mommy can't see very well, given that her bangs are flattened down over her eyes.]

[Ah, well he bent down to say hello before sitting then! And he's snorting, reaching over to push them out of the way a bit.]

[Riku smirks, shifting and holding Aden up so he can look at Red. Easier, anyway. That hood makes it hard to turn.]

Maybe you should start bringing a hairband with you if you're going to sit out in the rain.

[Heeeeey baby. He's going to take some time to give Aden a proper hello.]

[She knows he's there, but she sees no reason in calling him in. Riku won't mind if he does decide to enter, but that's completely his decision.]

[In the end, that damnable curiosity wins out and he starts heading inside slowly.]

[Saw that one coming a mile away. Riku doesn't do anything to move Aden, just bends her head down to press a kiss to the top of his wet head before she looks over her shoulder. She's not saying anything, still.]

[He almost wants to avoid looking at her when she looks over, but he resists, coming to a stop a few feet away.]

[Oh hi. Riku glances over her shoulder, then turns more, holding Aden closer.]

*keeps Kira close, so she doesn't get wet or cold*

[She's standing up, bending down to grab the umbrella once she's up and holding Aden properly.]

[ Curiouser and curiouser, he just has to approach, looking at the umbrella, and then at the stroller as he walks inside. After a moment or two, he stands next to her, just looking up at the rain as it splashes on his face. ]

Lots of water around this place, huh?

[ He states with a scratch of his head. He's used to the beach not being so stormy, but in a way, it's relaxing. ]

[She's seen places much more than this, in her time! But she's looking up at him, head tilted a bit. She's not used to Soras reacting to her so calmly.]

[ He's seen a few other girl Rikus, so he's not all that shocked anymore, though her with a baby is another thing. ]

[ He crouches near her, tilting his head at the baby in her grasp. ]

Is he yours or are you babysitting for someone?

No, this one's mine. Say hello, Aden.

[Aden can not talk yet, but he looks up at Sora with bright acid-green eyes.]

[She's familiar enough with that scent by now, and turns around immediately to look at him. Baby's more or less hidden in front of her, but she's not hiding him.]

You're behind the times, Axel. That was almost five months ago.

[If Axel tries, he will notice that Riku has some heavy defenses put up around her mind. He can probably get past them if he tries hard enough, but it's not as easy as with her younger self. Babby is giggling.]

[He did consider that briefly, then decided it's not worth it. Though the kid's mind might be very interesting, the thought makes him grin, fang included.]
