[ There is a Riku sitting on the beach, completely soaked. But she hasn't been in the water. It's raining loudly, thunder cracking across the ocean. There's an open and abandoned umbrella at her side, and the sand all around her is smooth and clear, except for the messy remains of her footsteps. It gives the feeling that everything's been washed clean. Propped up against the doorway sits a stroller; yes, she has her baby with her, but unlike his mother, he's quite protected, bundled up in a tiny raincoat and extra clothes underneath. He's quite safe. And while that coat has a hood, that's all there is to shielding his face. There's no point in hiding him anymore. ]

[ ... huh. Here's an exaggerated tilt of the head, before he sort of wiggles his index finger, poking the little guy's nose gently. ]

[Riku tilts her own head, thought not quite as dramatically. Aden laughs.]

[ Baw baby laughter. Excuse him as he makes baby noises. ]

[Baby noises are perfectly acceptable. Aden finds that even funnier, and reaches up for Sora with flailing arms.]

[ He looks at Riku, asking her with his eyes if it's okay. ]

[Riku will offer Aden up for him to take. She doesn't mind.]

How old's he?

[ Takes him gingerly; he's pretty good with kids when he's serious. Which... is very often, nowadays. ]

Just short of five months.

[Once he's got him, Riku will stand up, dusting herself off. Which doesn't do a whole lot of good when you're getting rained on, but wet sand is uncomfortable.]

[ He sort of laughs, bouncing Aden. ]

Yeah, I know.

[She'll let the rain wash her hands clean, then pushes her wet hair out of her face.]

Why're you out here, anyway? Couldn't you catch a cold?

Rain is relaxing for me. But we haven't been out here long.

[She shrugs, starting to walk for the door.]

[ Hey wait are you leaving your baby with me. ]

[No, she's expecting him to follow, and will wave and motion for him to do so.]

[ --oh! Still a bit of a derp, he follows after her, carefully holding Aden. ]

[Good boy. Riku trusts him with Aden, apparently, and only stops to wait once she's reached the door and is out of the rainfall.]

[ He gets to her side, looking at her. His spikes are finally, for once, starting to droop. Totally the force of the rain. ]

[Pfff. She smirks, then shakes her head and immediately goes about checking Aden. If his face is even the slightest bit wet she'll be diving for the baby towel in his bag, but she's going to unbutton that tiny raincoat first.]

Nothin', you're just... kinda like the Riku I know. And kinda different. That's a good thing, though. It'd be weird if everyone was alike.

[She smiles at that, leaning down to get a blanket out of the stroller's bag.]

Mm... I know a lot of Soras. But I haven't seen the one from my world for a long time.

[ He doesn't know what it's like, being so long without the person that was your 'other half' in that friendship-way. He's always known Riku was alright throughout his journey, but being here, he sort of starts to panic. Then again, Riku's training with Master Inxe... nothing could happen to him there, right? ]
