[seasides]

[there's a Nami seated on the floor in a room done up in soft blues and greens, papers scattered around him. on the papers are various things; people, places, snapshots in time, fixed in coloured pencil- they all have two things in common: the dressing room and Kai. Nami's almost done fixing Kai's current memory problem, and will probably be completely finished in the next day or so. at the moment he's started on what looks like a riverside clearing in a forest.]

[Nods and looks kind of relieved to hear that.]

Good... Thanks, Nami.

[seasides]

Of course, Riku. I wouldn't leave him like this.

[dawnrise]

I know. But still, thanks.

[Smiles. It's half that she's grateful, half that it's... Nami.]

[seasides]

[just nods and continues drawing. she can say thanks all she wants, he doesn't see any reason for it.]

[dawnrise]

[Well fine. She looks around again, then nods to the floor.]

Can I sit?

[seasides]

Of course. I'm going to take a break soon though.

[picks up a different pencil absently, focused on the paper.]

[dawnrise]

That's alright.

[She likes talking to him anyway, and takes a seat to watch.]

[seasides]

How have you been?

[since she asked, but he hadn't.]

[dawnrise]

Fine.

[Shrugs. She means it, too. Things are alright for now, and that's as good as it gets around here.]

[seasides]

That's good.

[he'd worry if the answer was anything less than that, really.]

[dawnrise]

[She'd say it either way, but at least she's honest this time.]

Yeah, it is.

[seasides]

I'm sure Kai will be happy to know it, too.

[Kai will be in for an emotional roller coaster when he wakes up, that's for sure.]

[dawnrise]

[Half-smiles at that, because he's probably right. She'll be happy when he's back.]

[seasides]

[slowly finishes with the picture and carefully starts gathering all the pages up.]

[dawnrise]

[Watches him, sitting up to get a look at them all. Talk about a blast to the past.]

[seasides]

[he notices that, and offers her the stack with a slightly hesitant smile.]

[dawnrise]

[Well, she's just staring at it.]

What?

[seasides]

Do you want to see them?

[c:?]

[dawnrise]

... Sure.

[Takes them very carefully.]

[seasides]

[don't worry, there's nothing nsfw in there-- mostly pictures of people, with a few scenes. Riku might recognize the kitchen, and Kai's room.]

[dawnrise]

[sdflkjgh. She wasn't expecting anything like that, and she's just flipping through to glance them over. She does recognize it. Both of them]

[seasides]

[he's really just working on the less important things now, memories Kai would be able to function without if anything were to happen that stopped the fixing.]

[dawnrise]

[Ah, good. That's very smart. Riku's happy everything appears to be going well, and holds the papers back out ot Nami.]

[seasides]

[takes them, ducking his head a little. what no, no crush here.]

The big stuff is done. If something happens, he'll be okay without it being finished.

[dawnrise]

[...o rly. Well! Riku's oblivious, and nods.]

That's good. Hopefully nothing happens, anyway.
