[there's a Nami seated on the floor in a room done up in soft blues and greens, papers scattered around him. on the papers are various things; people, places, snapshots in time, fixed in coloured pencil- they all have two things in common: the dressing room and Kai. Nami's almost done fixing Kai's current memory problem, and will probably be completely finished in the next day or so. at the moment he's started on what looks like a riverside clearing in a forest.]

It's alright. But... We should talk while we can.

[Crosses her arms, trying to think.]

I know. I just can't really think of what.

Yeah... Me neither.

[Sips her drink.]

[seasides]

[sighs, taking the spaghetti out of the microwave and grabbing a fork.]

[Why so sighing.]

Something wrong?

I just wish it wasn't so difficult for us to just talk.

[dawnrise]

Yeah...

[She feels kind of bad. A lot of the stuff they talked about before everything happened involved what they were doing, huh?]

[pretty much. he's really not had much of an opportunity to just... talk about random things.]

Why are you apologizing?

[dawnrise]

[...Shrugs.]

[smiles a bit.]

[he frowns a bit, but he's not one to push in this kind of circumstance.]

[She knows this, too, and is kind of grateful for it as she sips her drink.]

[he'll just quietly go back to his food :(]

[Awww don't do that. Well, yes, eat, but... She's going to take a seat on the counter.]

[Kind of blurted that out randomly, but it's something she wants to know.]
