[Pretends to have no idea at all as to why he's waking hours before dawn and fleeing from any remotely darkened room, which may induce sleep. Nightmares? What nightmares?
On another note, rediscovers how much coffee and Roxas mesh much like the contents of a train-wreck. Maybe it's just the nature of being rudely awakened, then denying yourself any rest through the night or following morning, which makes downing the muddy bilious stuff torture. This is shown by the way he's squinting blue-ringed eyes at the ceramic mug which said...unholy liquid..is growing tepid within.
Perhaps that glare could will it away, because getting up and walking to the sink ...isn't an option. Not when curling up in the embrace of a toasty-warm sofa is possible instead.
And it's so peaceful that he can't resist shutting one eye for a while... or maybe both. But they're blinking open after a minute or ten, so that's not encouraging sleep- right? Then neither is propping head on knees, arms around legs and letting the afghan fall over his eyes a bit. ....Not sleeping. No, no.
..Roxas is just still awake if he's -thinking- & concentrating on his thoughts in order to stay conscious. Mmhm~ Right.. t-thinki-..]

[Dead to the world.]

Well, this is odd. But she decides not to disturb him]

In his attempt to obtain a standing position he's slammed his knee into the coffee table not a foot away, sending the thrice-damned drink to it's demise.
And yet for all of it, not a word or sound is uttered.]
no subject
You... okay?
[maybe he's still asleep, but she wouldn't want that mess to stay there. Yeesh]

....
[Roxas barely registers the lady wearing a likened visage, and occupies his first waking moments hastily scrubbing the whole of his face. Eventually things like names, events, places...and rules of engagement click in place. There, he's back from whatever had been lingering at the corners of his mind.]
Hi~.
[He's all wholehearted smiles and contemplative looks.]
Didn't see you there....
no subject
[quirks an eyebrow at him, still leaning down and trying to clean up]

Now though...though Nobody replicas don't need as much sleep as the average person, he does have his limits. Crimson spikes dry and wearing a new Organization coat he snagged from somewhere, he's just looking for a place to sleep now. Hey, sofas! He promptly flops down on one of them, too tired to notice or care about whoever that other person on that other sofa is.]

Thankfully he must be resting sounding enough to be somewhere in the middle of REM, if the way Roxas' fingers and shoulder twitch are any suggestion.]

Anyone in earshot would hear the way one leg is thrown off it's perch upon the sofa's edge and sent almost viciously crashing into the glass-plated stand in front of Roxas.
Which was a crying shame. Whoever tries to fix it is going to have a hell of a time getting that much replacement glass here.
To be honest-
The culprit deserved, as the most lenient punishment, to be
tarred and feathereda good lecture for damaging the snazzy....and expensive looking... property here. That or be forced to abide by the universal "Break it? Bought it!" philosophy.Well, said same 'outlaw' would have earned as much, if he appeared anything but very much present in a fitful slumber. Roxas' mild shifting had escalated, running from a zero to sixty scale in so many seconds. One might think the behavior, and his look of mild frustration, resembled a sluggish or half-hearted struggle against..invisible sheets, perhaps.
Or another person.]
...mng.

Rox?

To be honest, the Dozing Boy Wonder there likely wouldn't have caught that had he been in possession of all his mental capabilities, including awareness and hearing. But, the timing happened to be on the spot. So up he is...
And though Roxas doesn't act as though his resting place is on fire, and leap from it as he'd performed much much earlier...later..something-er; his reaction does have it's own...unique.. flare.
More or less behaves as though oxygen is the latest trend, or that he'd been watching Friday the Thirteenth re-runs in the snug catacombs of dreamland.
The gasp is quiet more of shock than blood-curling horror, and while it's no match for the grade A table-abuse...his own voice brings him to the present.
.....Where he promptly locks eyes with Axel, and breaks out into a cold sweat. You'd think the other man was dressed up as Mr. Kruger himself, or better yet- a Vegas showgirl with feather boa in tow.]

[Doesn't move off the sofa just yet...not with the broken glass littering the floor. Had that not been there, he would have, after seeing Roxas's frightened reaction.]
Sorry. Didn't mean to scare ya.
no subject
[Forces his head to turn, passing the understood 'No, You didn't' on before he has the capacity to find those words. It hardly matters if he's riding all the truth of that unspoken claim on a technicality.]
Don't worry about it.
[First instincts are to wipe at his hairline and try to regain some composure after what must have been a spectacularly awful scene.]
no subject
You okay? It didn't look like you were having the most peaceful of dreams.
no subject
[No, we do not like that topic. Let's drive this conversation anywhere else but there..even if it means a dead end or wall.]
You....
Watched out for me- while I slept?
[That...was meant to be a serious question. But, good job. It somehow backfires and -he's- the one that takes it like a direct hit. Only this Roxas could manage a feat so stupendous. Cue looking for something im-por-tante on the floor....or anywhere but Axel's face. Quick! Find a penny so this makes sense and not more Crazy! You have enough.]
no subject
Well...in the seconds before you woke up, yeah.

Right?]
H.. Hey there, Namine.
[Straightens and smooths out his shirt before reflexively combing back the trademark Roxas!mop.]
Sorry. I probably shouldn't be passed out like a freeloader in here~.
no subject
Hi to you too, sleepyhead.
Nah, you looked like you needed it.
no subject
You're far too kind, and I appreciate the concern~.
Though, yeah....hoping a cat-nap did the trick.
[Yawns as if on cue. Drat.]
no subject
You might sleep better somewhere people won't wake you up.
no subject
If I would have, I'd miss out on seeing you today.
[Stretches those kinks out. He's a big boy and can shrug the weariness off.]
What brings you to-
[Glances about the otherwise empty room, where a dropped pin would be heard, before facing Namine with a sheepish grin.]
The outskirts of boredom-land and dulls-ville?
no subject
Like you said, boredom. There's not really a lot to do around here. [shrugs and stretches too]
*Likely has to head off. Will be back in the early am.*
Actually, if you're terribly restless and wouldn't mind the work-
I've stashed an assortment of odds and ends for the upcoming dance in the pantry....
You're welcome to come along with me and start setting up the ball-room with various props and streamers if you'd like~!
I have no life, so I'll probably be on.
Lead the way!
