Not entirely unusual, but the brightly colored bat perched on his head might be. He doesn't have a particular destination in mind, but is instead taking the path that seems to be the most interesting.]

[She is welcome to borrow the one perched...well, on her head now, wings curled partially around the sides, forming a sort of bat hat. As long as he hangs around.]

Riku-pie is the younger version of my Auntie Piku-pie. She's a girl Riku. Daddy calls her Riku-pi, but when I was a baby, I couldn't pronounce her name.

Oh, her. Yeah, she has one too, but he has orange wings. I think she named it Candy Corn.

Fine, fine, I won't. He can sleep there if he wants. I was just taking a walk...see if I can find anything interesting.

[Shrug. He hasn't yet, except for the bat, which appeared just a little while ago.]

I was going to visit my narwhals when I saw your bat. Does he have a name?

Mango.

[Because looks kinda like one, with the red wings and the yellow body.]

And yeah, I do! Aden gave them to me as a present! Well, they're not really mine, but Aden found a room where they live, so it's sort of like they're mine even though they mostly take care of themselves and do narwhal things.

Ah. What do they do exactly? I've never seen a narwhal before.

[She should totally introduce him to them.]

They... do narwhal-things. Do you want to come with me to see them? They're not far.

Sure. Lead the way.

Yay! This'll be fun! But you're gonna need boots and a thicker jacket. It's really cold in their room.

[He looks at his socks, then his sleeves.]

Hm. Do you want to come with me or wait here while I get those?

I was gonna pick up warmer stuff in a closet near the narwhal's room. I'm sure there'll be something to fit you too.
